G8 Education on winning the top award for Great Beginnings in WA and The Learning Sanctuary in SA.
G8 Education’s strong showing in the 2021 KindiCare Excellence Awards is testament to the group’s increased investment in raising the standard of education and care across all 470 of its early learning centres in Australia.
G8 Education CEO Gary Carroll said the focus on access to training and education for educators and a comprehensive upgrade program to deliver state of the art learning environments and resources was producing tangible results.
“We are absolutely thrilled to see Great Beginnings Secret Harbour named the best in the West and The Learning Sanctuary Norwood take out the honours in South Australia,” said Mr Carroll.
“To have another four centres named amongst the top 10 in four States reinforces G8 Education as one of the country’s leading providers of quality education and care.
“It is testament to the passion and dedication of our educators and teachers who have such a huge impact on the happiness, wellbeing and future success of the next generation.”
Mr Carroll said the KindiCare Excellence Awards provided families with a valuable resource to help them make important decisions about the education and care of their children.
“We know that families take into account many factors when they are selecting an early learning centre for their child,” said Mr Carroll. “KindiCare offers a unique perspective to famil ies with its rating system based on cost, quality rating, parent feedback and services.
“This provides parents with a rounded picture of the total offering enabling a more informed decision about the best care and education for their child.”
G8 Education has undertaken a multi-million dollar investment program in its centres right across Australia to ensure the children in its care have access to the very best learning resources in environments that are safe and engaging and support learning through play.
It has also invested heavily in its people, covering the cost of educators studying towards their Certificate III, Diploma and Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and providing mentoring and support to help them achieve their education and career ambitions.
Learning and training programs are also accessible to all team members to ensure their learning remains up to date. “Every day our educators work to instil a lifetime love of learning amongst our littlest learners and we lead by example, practising what we preach,” said Mr Carroll.
“Our first cohort of educators who we supported through a nationwide scholarship program will be graduating with an Early Childhood Teaching degree next year and will play a valuable role in delivering preschool programs in our centres.
“By supporting and nurturing our educators through our Study Pathways Program we are directly enhancing the quality of education and care for our children and families.”
