Part of my soul left when ms? Mrs?? Bruce left though.... but otherwise great school. most teachers are great, students there  are...okay? The yr 6 shirts are great. And the layout of the school is good as well. it’s a small school but it works out. But after more than 5 yrs at the school it starts getting very small and boring, wEll at least the oval is huge..AAHhH nEveR minD the OvAl noW haS boUndarIEs at little space left ò>ó

A million school to be at and the student are kind and generous and a well maintain  school one of  the best school ever my third coming baby will be going there in the nest 4 years

During Harmony Week of 2014, I was invited to Florey Primary School to assist with a block of Relief Teaching.

As a specialist trained drama-dance teacher delivering an eclectic of presentations and programs in Australian settings including; classrooms, high-schools, colleges, university tutoring and industry workshops - I chanced to observe the most charming of all Harmony Day experiences, here at Florey.

It was so, in its simplicity and authenticity. The children naturally dressed in their national costume and presented dance to traditional music. It was during ACT 11, if I remember it correctly, when an Islander child lost an elaborate head dress mid song!! Clearly as compatriot tears welled deeply inside the children’s heart, the whole school paused. As though to nestle together, humming the child along in a meditation, the dance was so delicately performed.

This was for me, a genuine intercultural exchange that sang for the bell of tolerance. Here-in the broader family, the school community lifted the child onto the universal and spiritual wings of compassion.

Florey was absolutely unforgettably orange in harmony!
