We care for and contribute to our community and are always looking for opportunities to get involved in local and national events. We are passionate about the learning and development of children from nursery until they progress onto preschool. So, we create a variety of experiences to foster this. Our Educators are truly passionate and strive to learn and develop professionally to support our children.

We speak the following languages at this centre: Mandarin, German, Hindi, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Persian, Turkish, Bangla, Hindi, Korean.

Your child will receive the support they need to learn, explore, and grow through a range of age-appropriate activities. From language classes and school readiness programs to excursions and guests from our community — your child will learn through a variety of programs and a breadth of different people with different perspectives. Children in our service receive catered meals at each mealtime, with special consideration for dietary and cultural requirements.

I have been to many childcare providers in the area (with 3 different children) and Storyhouse has been by far the best. Their educators are always so adoring to my children and it truly feels like they care just as much as me for their wellbeing. The centre is also managed very well and I always feel like they are accommodating to me and my family. I travel past 4 other childcare centres to come to this one that I trust.

Story House in Alexandria is a fantastic facility. Our daughter has been there for almost 2 years and absolutely loves it there. Amazing facility!

Highly recommend. Our little girl absolutely loves SH, the staff are so friendly, happy and so incredible with our little girl and all the other children there. The app where you can see your childs day (food, nappy changes, sleep) plus the photos and videos is truly amazing. We are so happy we managed to secure a spot and have even recently added an additional day as our daughter loves it so much. Thank you SH :)

Fortunate to have found a place for our son at SHEL Alexandria. Great communication with us from the beginning! The continuity of staff, the outstanding care to each child, and a perfect balance between play based and structured learning. The management team always welcomes feedback and implements changes when required (from new menu to new activities). The staff members are all wonderful, kind, loving, nurturing, personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this daycare!
