Goodstart Bondi Junction West is an absolute gold star centre. If you only want the best for your bubba’s, this is the place to send them. The nurses here are second to none in the love, care and attention they provide to our little one, Daphne, Sharmin and the two Bronwyn’s are extremely special women who work tirelessly to ensure the happiness of kids and parents, and the cleanliness and absolute perfect smooth running of this centre. They each regularly go above and beyond their job duties which is something extremely special that is very rare to find in any workplace. I have seen many other nursery’s and childcare centres and you simply cannot compare them to Bondi Junction West, it’s a dream and we are so lucky to have found it. Testament to this is the fact our family moved away from Bondi some time ago, but we would rather drive and travel over an hour each day to keep our daughter at this centre. Both of my girls have attended Goodstart since they were 6 months old until pre-school and I highly recommend this daycare. The carers who were with the girls since they started have been with the centre their whole stay and turnover is so low as the sense of love, value, community etc is so strong. The educators are amazing and are so knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond to make my girls the caring, smart, confident & playful kids they are today! I can not recommend this centre enough! I will tell anyone who will listen!

Our son has been in this centre since he was 18 months old & is only leaving at the age of 5.5 years old to go to kindergarten. In his 4 years at Goodstart he has made a large group of wonderful friends that he absolutely adores & has grown up with. The carers have been very caring & our son feels safe & secure with them. We feel like they are an extended family for our son, so much so that he doesn't want to leave them for 'big school'! The team go above & beyond to help us with anything we need or request & have been a huge support for our family. Our experience with the centre has been nothing short of wonderful.

My son has been enrolled at Goodstart Bondi West for the last 3 years. During that time our family has been extremely impressed by the staff at this centre. The care and compassion that they show for all of the children is clear in everything they do. I've always felt 100% comfortable that my son is not only safe but in a nurturing environment that will help him grow to be a strong and empathetic person.

We've been a family at this service for the past 5yrs (2 children) and can't fault the service. For a large service, there is still a strong partnership and respect towards each family and we have always been welcomed positively. As a parent, any issues have been dealt with effectively and immediately by the various directors that we have encountered over our time. For my children, the teachers have been more than nurturing and caring - and this has continued even once my eldest began primary school. As an early childhood teacher myself (at a different organisation), I have complete faith, trust and respect in the staff caring, guiding and educating my children

Goodstart early Learning Child Care Centre Bondi Junction - Oxford Street West is a 65 place child care centre conveniently located on Level 6 of the Bondi Westfield Shopping Centre, with easy access to the Bondi Junction Terminal for those families who commute into the city as well as servicing the neighbouring suburbs of Woollahra, Tamarama and Edgecliff. We also have designated parking spaces allocated to our centre to enable a safe drop off for families. Our centre is secure and accessible with a pin code that is given only to our parents.
 
Our childcare centre is spacious and filled with natural light and our rooms are split into three age groups. We have two beautiful outdoor play areas for each age group at the centre. 
 
Our educators are committed professionals who foster an ethos of respect and belonging. Our team is culturally diverse and this diversity translates into our educational programs. We also encourage families to participate in the development of our responsive program.  
 
We have a strong focus on supporting the holistic development of each child. Our program builds learning skills, early literacy and numeracy, life skills and social and emotional resilience. We also offer extra-curricular experiences on a weekly basis to support our program. 

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our playground has sandpits, a wooden boat, climbing equipment, compost bin, worm farm and vegetable patch, climbing equipment and lots of space to run.
 
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
   
Our on-site cook is a qualified Hospitality Chef who provides nutritious meals daily and caters for a number of special dietary requirements. Our cook creates the meals on our menu using a mixture of vegetarian and non-vegetarian ingredients using the Long Day Care Menu Planning Method developed by the NSW Department of Health.

At our child care centre we build strong connections with families and children through a Primary Care Educator approach. 

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
