Sand and Stories Early Childhood Centre 2

Our goal is to create a high quality setting that encourages each child’s capacity for thinking and feeling through play. Our environment uses simple, organic and open-ended resources that act as a blank canvas from which each child is able to display their stories to share with others.

We are an approved service, licensed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority (ACECQA) as well as registered to process Child Care Subsidy granted by the Australian Government Department of Education.

Our dedicated educators hold a minimum of a Diploma in Children’s Education and Care supporting the Australian Government’s national early childhood agenda. Each age group will be staffed according to ratios and above the minimum requirements. We also have three full time university trained Early Childhood Teachers working directly with children. We believe that highly qualified educators are crucial as they are equipped with practical and theoretical skills to best promote your child’s development.

At Sand and Stories Early Childhood Centres, we aim to instil a lifelong interest in discovery. We aim to foster your child’s natural curiosity to discover their world, through implementing a play-based curriculum, closely supported by the National Early Years Learning Framework. This framework will guide our practice as it focuses on the concepts of children ‘being’, ‘belonging’ and ‘becoming’.
