Jenny's Kindergarten & Early Learning Centre - Leichhardt

Our family had a truly fantastic experience at Jenny's Kindergarten Leichhardt. Managers Rebecca and Gabrielle are warm, pragmatic and caring, always communicating promptly and clearly. The educators are stars, with our son forming a particularly close relationship with the lovely Annabelle, who our family came to know and love. We were very sorry to leave Jenny's when we moved overseas. We'd recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare in Leichhardt, although we recommend you call them to be placed on the waitlist promptly as spaces fill up quickly.

Both my children attended Jennys’s at Leichhardt. The team are welcoming, professional and courteous. It took my little ones no time at all to settle in. They love going!

Jenny’s Leichhardt is a wonderful daycare. Our daughter has been attending for about a year now and her/our experience has only been positive. The educators are amazing and really care about the children and their education/experience at the centre. I love receiving regular updates each day via the parents app and am also so grateful for the update I receive at the end of each day from our daughter’s main educator. The centre directors are also fantastic, flexible and always available to discuss your child’s needs. The only negative is we are moving out of Sydney next year and it is incredibly hard to find another centre that meets our expectations. Jenny’s and the wonderful staff have set the bar too high.

Amazing, caring educators who put their heart into caring for our daughter. Our daughter has blossomed and found her confidence from attending care 2 days a week. Jenny's goes above and beyond for us and beautiful facilities with many amazing benefits such as bunnies for children to play with, after hours movies nights, night markets and much much more. Beautiful meals are served for children and even dinner served which is extremely helpful for us as parents. Our daughter has made amazing bonds with educators and other children so we are beyond happy!

I remember touring all the daycares in Leichhardt and feeling very nervous about leaving my little one but Jenny's made me feel so at ease and I could clearly see the educators love their job and enjoy working with children. Kids were not left alone to cry, noses were wiped clean and that gave me all the confidence. Almost 2 years later and my son still attends Jenny's and he is so happy to go there every morning. Definitely recommend!

My daughter Arella currently attends Jennys Kindergarten Leichhardt and has been since 2020 after shopping around the area. We found a warmness we didn't find anywhere else. We absolutely love the centre, our daughter has fitted right in to the place from day one. The centre is beautifully diverse, the educators are so nurturing to the children there. I feel so comfortable dropping my little one there knowing she will always get a hung and be taken care of as if the children were their own. The foods are always delicious and facilities clean. My daughter has learnt so much at the centre and loves all her teachers. Highly recommended!

My son attended the childcare back in 2017. We were transferred from Hurstville (Hurstville was the best centre, Ms Xiaojing is the best teacher across whole Jenny's). Leichhardt branch was fine at the beginning but they started to have high turnover in teachers after a few months my son was enrolled and they struggle finding/ retaining qualified teachers and ended up taking in anyone. I understood and cherished diversity but there was none native speaker among teachers on the floor did not exhibit a good balance in my opinion. What's worse, they would not change nappies on time, kids were often playing unsupervised. Not a single day I did not get any incident report and I had to withdraw my son because the incidents went outrageous. There was this boy called Fletcher who would scratch my son like a crazy ( when they are fighting over toys) to an extent my son's face was covered in scratches and scars. This other boy Alex (former headmaster's son) would bite you to bruise and all those bruises on the back were beneath winter clothes. Teachers did nothing. I will never forget the day I decide to end all when I found my son covered in sand with scratches all over his face sitting in the sand pit alone with no teacher around, in the middle of the day - my workplace was close so I decided to dropby and check on him. I could not return to work that afternoon and had to end all on the spot. My son ended up staying home with grandparents for month because at leat it's safe! My true experience and worst nightmare! I hope this draws attention of regulatory body and I have photos to share to support my statement above.

Jenny's Leichhardt is a warm and welcoming centre, where all the teachers across the three rooms know each and every child well. The food is both nutritious and varied, and the manager is always available to answer any request or question that you may have. Our son's teacher is an absolute gem and a true asset to the centre. She loves to sing songs on her Ukulele and encourage the kids to dance and play musical instruments. We absolutely love the updates and photos we get throughout the day, and couldn't ask for a better place for our little boy.

A beautiful and welcoming centre with lovely staff. Great programs and learning environment for all ages. I highly recommend Jenny’s Leichhardt.
