I began my journey in the Early Childhood Education sector in 2014. Throughout the years I have been working in different capacities including Early Childhood Teacher, Assistant Director, and Centre Director.

I hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) from RMIT University with Honours First Class and am currently a Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidate at the Sydney University School of Education and Social Work. My research interests revolve around social justice, early language development, and educative assessment. I am interested in investigating how these aspects can re-inform educators’ teaching practice leading to uplifted children’s learning outcomes at the centre level.

I am a passionate advocate for children’s voice and their rights to play, combined with a strong focus on parent-teacher and teacher-children relationships. Leveraging my internal & external networks with a range of early childhood specialists, I strive to create a safe & enabling environment for all children, where their individual needs are catered to centre-wide. Existing families always comment on how our service feels more like a home away from home.
