Parent Reviews
Submitted my enrolment enquiries twice on their website last week and called & left voice message on 23/07/2024. No responses from this business at all.
The Best childcare place. The centre director is very helpful and understanding about family challenges. Children are looked after as they would be at home.
We cannot thank Handprints and all the beautiful, caring and flexible educators enough for giving our son such an exceptional start to his education. As parents, it warms our hearts to see him so excited to attend each day and we are so grateful for the high-quality teaching and learning community that he has been privileged to be part of.
We love handprints St Ives! My son had an amazing time in the nursery, he learnt so much and was comfortable with each of the educators. Life as a parent was made so much easier knowing he was well cared for and happy to be there. We sadly had to relocate cities and wish we could have brought Handprints with us!
I love love love Handprints St Ives. They truly are an extension of our family. The educators are incredible and really care so deeply about my daughter and all of her friends. Handprints really focuses on the children’s emotional development and this really shows in the caring nature of the kids. The educators work closely with myself and my husband to support my daughter in anyway possible. If my daughter is having any issues, they develop activities focusing on these issues, through books and games to support her development and learning. For example slightly overzealous hugging of her younger brother, they introduced gentle hugging activities, or when she was having nightmares they introduced activities around this. It really is targeted to what each child is going through each day/week. The communication is excellent and I really feel as though we are working as a team to nurture and support my daughter. She absolutely LOVES Handprints and is so excited on the days she goes in, she talks about her friends and educators all weekend. My husband and I say to each other several times a week how lucky we are for our daughter to go to Handprints, I think we would be lost without them!
My twins have attended Handprints for nearly two years and our experience has been exceptional. Our children's emotional needs have been met with kindness at every stage of their development, the Handprints curriculum has kept their inquisitive minds growing each day, and bush school is a highlight in our week. In addition the St Ives team stepped up to support me in running and improving a playgroup for asylum seeker and refugee families in partnership with Jesuit Refugee Services, offering early education opportunities for children who would otherwise be going without. It feels like Handprints is an extension of our family!
My son has attended Handprints for 18 months and has experienced both the Nursery and Junior Preschool rooms. I've always been impressed with the level of staff knowledge, support for parents, communication and child-interest inspired learning and programming of activities. The facilities and resources are wonderful and the children have so many outdoor experiences too – walks to the oval across the road or down to the creek. My son has built some very valuable relationships with his teachers and classmates which has been important, especially as he doesn’t have siblings to play with and learn together at home. Early learning is so crucial to a child’s development and school readiness, and I feel that Handprints has provided him with the best foundation for when he begins primary school. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Handprints.
Our Child attended Handprints St Ives for 3 years, we always found the staff to be very friendly and professional, the center was always maintained to a very high standard, the outdoor area was inviting and fun for our child. The child lead learning model, really helped our child to develop the skills she needed to transition to school, and she still stays in contact with the friends she made, at this wonderful center , i would highly recommend to all
