Parent Reviews
What sets this school apart is its genuine commitment to nurturing each child's individual strengths and understanding their unique needs.
The teachers and staff at Kambora Public School don't just teach; they truly connect with their students. They take the time to recognize and celebrate each child's talents, fostering a sense of confidence and self-worth. We've seen our child flourish in this supportive environment, not only academically but also emotionally.
It's clear that Kambora Public School prioritizes understanding kids' real needs, going beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.
HIDDEN GEM!
Kambora Public School in Davidson is THE best kept secret in the forest.
From the moment the kids and I entered the school, we were amazed by the welcome we received, the school grounds, the Harry Potter library and the beautifully renovated infrastructure. Both kids walked out with a big smile on their faces and gave me big thumbs up, I enrolled them on the spot.
What makes Kambora Public School an absolute gem are the people running it. The principal Miss Janabi and her wonderful team are the most caring, devoted and warm people I have ever came across in a school environment. They thrive to make Kambora Public School a welcoming, positive, nurturing and safe environment where children are given access to multiple support programs and activities to develop not only their academical skills but also their values and morales. I am honestly so impressed.
On day 2, I got an email from the school telling me that my son had been selected to the amazing program StoryDogs, where Elle the labrador comes to school and help kids continue to discover the joy of reading one wag at a time. I mean, on Day 2! I didn't ask for anything, but that's what Kambora Public School is all about. The smaller size of the school allows for personalised 1:1 support catered for each child who needs extra help.
Kambora has so much to offer, we are getting the benefits of a private school whilst in a public setting. Every single child gets individual support catered to their own needs. Teachers go out of their way to enhance your child's school experience and skills. The quality of education provided is absolutely outstanding yet very nurturing and holistic.
Kambora is a smaller school yes but don't let the "small school" stigma fool you. Kambora does not feel small at all. Having a point of comparison moving both my kids (Y3 + kindy) from big school to Kambora, I wish we had gone straight to Kambora.
The benefits of everything Kambora has to offer far outweigh the potential issues parents fear with a smaller school.
All I can say is that our local families choosing to send their kids to a bigger school over Kambora are completely missing out and don't even know it.
