Fantastic school for primary. Small class sizes and a great community atmosphere. Mosman prep has exceeded our expectations.
Pretty close to perfect if you have a boy. Three of my boys are / have attended and each have been in the top quartile, the bottom quartile and in between for something. Each boy is different and yet their journey is a very positive one enabled by a strong learning partnership between teachers, boys and parents.
The pastoral care at the school is incredible and it creates an environment where our boys are supported to be and achieve their best. They receive individual attention with abundant opportunity. The adventure and fun are well suited for their learning needs and our boys have thrived since joining the Prep community.
I have had the benefit of putting both my boys through Mosman Prep, and could not have been more impressed by the support we have received from the current staff. Mosman Prep has formed an outstanding culture and we are lucky to be a part of the most cohesive community. The school’s values are practised by the boys in all interactions within the school and outside. Mosman Prep assist in the development of well rounded boys who are encouraged to contribute to the greater community through an excellent initiative called Good Chaps. Mosman Prep are able to offer the highest caliber of education to boys of all learning abilities. The teacher’s are innovative with their programs, which keep the boys immersed in their learning. My sons are both incredibly proud and grateful to have been a part of the most nurturing and fulfilling learning journey at Mosman Prep.
Having had 3 boys attend the school, we highly recommend Mosman Preparatory School. We moved all 3 boys to Mosman Prep from another school, and were very happy with this decision to change schools.
Mosman Prep provides a comprehensive academic programme, where those who are more gifted are encouraged, supported and challenged to participate in advanced academic modules. The school also offers a wide range of other opportunities, including an inter-school sporting program, sailing, swimming, music, choir, debating, cooking, charity work, and activity camps where boys are encouraged to push themselves out of their comfort zones. The regular visits to the Terrey Hills campus is something our boys always looked forward to. The school motto, Not for Ourselves Alone, is a key theme in their education and activities. We found the transition from primary school to high school effortless after attending Mosman Prep. Our boys have also made great friends along the way.
We’ve found teaching staff and the Headmaster to be accessible, and they’ve provided good, honest feedback on the performance and progress of our boys.
Sorry but is Not good at all
Great disappointment.
We felt mislead, all the support offered during the interviews was no available after starting, the few days in early entry were sad and stressful, my boy being called names and made feel embarrassed (by his own teachers) who also mislead us. Terrible! :(
Happy to be out and recovered from the trauma.
Unfortunately paying high fees does not mean is a great very small school.
The only good staff members that haven't left , since the new principal has arrived. Are only present as there waiting for retirement, used to be a great school. Currently the institution is not delivering a satisfactory level of education. Voicing your opinion on the matter consequently results in potential termination of attendance.
They become blind at the rising of big problems, pretend is all ok with them and always blame the victim boy. Terrible school, Nothing at all like it used to be, young teachers without much experience but lots of attitude
