Explore & Develop North Ryde - Early Learning Centre

My kids love going to explore and develop Delhi Rd, North Ryde. The educators are now our extended family and my second one is one yo who just started and she settled after 3 weeks of starting, which I think is pretty fast for a young age, given that I’ve been her main carer. I hand her over and she doesn’t cry anymore, which for me was a bit early and I wasn’t ready, but it also means she’s having lots of fun and learning with her new baby friends she’s made. She starts pumping her legs ready to go when I say ‘Childcare’ to her.

I love the topics and dynamic programs the centre offers and always links back to science and aboriginal culture and respecting the land. They also have a strong focus on mental well being too which is important in today’s world.

My eldest has been at the centre for almost 3 yrs (we’re lucky we’re still with his primary educator) (started at the centre from 8 months old) and he’s loving it there. He’ll bring home funny stories of what his friends did or what the educators has taught him. My son has a sudden interest for Space early this yr and he bought a space book in to share with his class and it was so nice to see the educators built on this interest for him and others interested and built a whole program around it. And now he won’t stop singing the solar system song, that details facts abt each planet.

The educators theres are like an extended family to my children and that’s extremely important for our family as we don’t have any family support near us and my husband and I both working full time.

Had my little one in this center, since she was 13 months old. She is now 3.5yrs old.  She has been well looked after, and developed great bonds with all the educators and carers in the center. The management tries their best to ensure there is continuity of primary carer throughout their journey in the center. All concerns raised are listened and acted upon very quickly to resolve.
My little one was given plenty of opportunities to express herself, have fun and learn great skills. It has been great to observe that her learning  journey has been diverse.

We started sending my older child to Explore and Develop, North Ryde, since we moved into the area a few years ago. Having been exposed to another centre (a large centre) when we lived in another suburb, we can truly say how pleased we’ve been with Libby and the team at Explore and Develop. When you are shopping around for a daycare centre, you don’t yet realise how important centre management and communication is over the course of your relationship with the centre. This is one of the areas in which they excel.

The educators are well-trained and have a genuine care for the children. My younger child has been with the centre since they were 10 months old, and it’s been such a joy to see both children form great bonds with the same educators over the years.

I just received a call from one of the educators this morning, and she very insightfully told be her observations about my child and the development areas they had identified. She was spot on, and I felt extremely assured that my child is in great hands. It’s not like I had any reason for concern. At drop off, my child skips off into the centre without even turning around to give us a second look.

Explore and Develop North Ryde has been fantastic during the 2 years that my daughter has attended the centre. Caring and always listening to our concerns. My daughter is always happy and excited to go. From the teachers to the management they have been of great support, specially this last few months with Covid. I leave my daughter in the centre knowing that she will look after and loved. Thank you to all the team at ED North Ryde.

My elder son has started with them since he was 1.5 years old, and will go to school next year. always loves going to daycare, playing with his mates, and actively engaging all kinds of activities with his educators who have tremendously helped him on daily basis, and to get him ready for school next year. Surely will miss his peers and educators!!! and now my younger son also joins them and really enjoys himself. Overall, very happy experience with E&D North Ryde, and much appreciated the ongoing support from admin staff and educators.
