My daughter has been attending to ToBeMe Early Learning in Burwood for over 1 year and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. The environment is warm and welcoming, and the staff genuinely care about each child. They are always attentive, making sure the kids feel safe, loved, and supported. The center offers a variety of activities that keep my daughter engaged, from fun creative projects to educational games that help her learn while having fun. I’ve seen her grow so much since she started here, both socially and emotionally. She’s always excited to go to the center, and as a parent, that gives me great peace of mind. I highly recommend ToBeMe at Burwood to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing place for their child to learn and grow. Kibbie

This childcare center used to be our favorite, and both of my kids have spent a lot of time here. After taking a break earlier this year for personal reasons, we decided to return, but unfortunately, things have changed. 1. Decline in Educator Quality: The quality of the educators has noticeably declined. Most of the new staff no longer greet us or acknowledge my child by name during drop-off. When my child stands there unsure of what to do, some educators don't even react. Previously, the staff would engage with the children right away, helping parents feel at ease when leaving. 2. Fee Increase with Decreased Service Quality: The fees have increased significantly, but the quality of service has not improved—in fact, it has gotten worse. The center is on the third floor of the building, and every time we enter the room, there’s a strong kitchen smell, and the environment feels stuffy. 3. The center has recently been sold to a new owner, leading to a lot of transitions. Previously, the environment was quite stable, but now there are many internship students coming to the center for observations or other purposes. This constant change has disrupted the sense of stability that we appreciated so much before. Overall, I’m disappointed with the recent changes.

We chose To Be Me Burwood because of the warmth and caring of the educators. Three years and two children later, I'm still so wowed and so grateful for all their kindness. From the moment the children enter their care, they give a rockstar welcome, and at pick up, the educators are happy to chat about the day. The little details they are able to share about your child, it's as if your child is the only one in their care, it's astounding. To Be Me educators are truly to most wonderful people. One of their strengths is their communication - communication with parents: open dialogue channels where feedback and input is welcome - communication between educators: every time I'm in the centre, I can see the educators doing constant head counts and clearly communicating to another educator which children they will be moving to another space or activity, and which children they are leaving to make sure there are eyes on every child. There are a number of float teachers which help maintain a safe ratio for the children, but I feel also creates a safe environment for the educators, they can take personal leave when needed and you don't see sniffly teachers at the centre. Happy educators make for happy children. I really wish there was more that could be done for educators to keep them happy and lessen their load. We are pleased with the varied experiences To Be Me offers, and their commitment to celebrating differences. Over the years, we have navigated a number of changes, and the staff have always been very transparent and responsive. They work tirelessly to make transitions and changes smooth. Special shoutout to Ms Tiana who gives my my daughter's favourite cuddles, Ms Komal, Ms Jasmine, Ms Miah, Ms Mandavi, Ms Farida, Ms Yuke, Ms Ellaine, Ms Kat, Ms Alice, Ms Milika, Ms Shivangi, Ms Emily, Ms Nicole, Mr Bruno, Ms Grace, Ms Nidhi, Ms Sally, Ms Marites, all educators past and present, everyone has just been so lovely always, I may have forgotten some names here but my children and I will never forget your kindness and care. We are very thankful for all the educators at To Be Me and for all that they do.

My son has attended to the Childcare Centre since the start of February in 2022. As a parent, I am glad to see my baby boy learning and growing beautifully with the support of great and caring educators. The staff is responsible and has continuously communicated information regarding my son’s growth and well-being via a report and face-to-face. My son is always happy and has definitely learned how to socialize with other people. I highly recommend the childcare center Burwood ToBeMe.

ToBeMe Early Learning – Burwood is a great centre and my son love attending. He is always excited to attend and is always greeted beautifully with warmth and love by all staff, I really feel confident leaving my child there and love hearing about their day as he comes home talking about the experiences he have had. I can see the big difference in his vocabulary Also the food served to children is healthy and fresh. I am so happy with the quality of care and the educational program in the pre-school room is fantastic. The level of care is awesome and the educators are exceptional. They treat every child with warmth and empathy and are flexible and accommodating with any request. I felt comfortable leaving my son with them from day one after we had a tour of the centre Their is also an in house chef cooking yummy and healthy menu daily. The centre is passionate about education and have built a programme based on considerable examine of different learning ideas. I feel my son will not only be looked after, but benefit greatly from his time here and be great learner!!
