Cubby OOSH at Homebush

Pretty good school. At least speaking from my experience and perspective, it was quite serene due to the relaxed uniform policy, teachers, etc. When I first transferred, around 20 people (perhaps more), approached me, made me feel included and greeted me. I felt recognised in this school and it was overall a nice school for me to have come to.

The canteen is opened

I went to this public school from kindergarten to grade 6. Really great school with many nice teachers and students. There are only a few negative things in the school, such as, dirty toilets, students littering everywhere and no canteen. There were no bullying happening and everyone got well together most of the times. Overall great school and great experience throughout all those years. ( Since I left the school, there have been a bunch of new teachers and many teachers resigning. I can’t say I know everything that is up to date. This is just what I experienced while at the school)

This school is the absolute worst. The school is dirty, there was graffiti in the girls toilet, and I even found a dead pigeon on the floor! There are a lot of bullies, and the school DOES NOT know how to deal with them. They just give them a tiny little chat and make them stay in the office for 30 minutes, unless it's serious, then they get a warning for suspension. The teachers are extremely biased and they always treat the girls better than the boys (except for the male teachers which are really good, such as Mr Marshall and Mr Credentino). Some teachers are really strict. Some teachers are just straight up boring and rarely do any fun activities. I recommend you to not send your children here as this is a really bad school.

I attended this school from kindergarten to year six and my experience wasn't really good but there are many people I know that went here in its recent years and it's clear it's gotten worse. The school continues to do nothing about bullying. The school does nothing about teachers or students saying slurs. The bathrooms are disgusting. The teachers were very unprofessional. There is no canteen. The school does not know how to teach respect and proper behaviour to the k-2 students. The only good memories I have from this horrible school, were with my friends and peers. High school was a VERY BIG upgrade from this place, send your child to a school that isn't less than the BARE MINIMUM. Send them to a school that IS NOT Homebush Public School.
