Former Year 8 student in 2009 Review

The reason i am writing this review is due to a traumatic experience that i experienced at this religions school at the tender age of 12.

I had always loved to play soccer in my home country and arrived to Australia on march 2009 and entered this school in April -May 2009.

At the time my experience at this school was wonderful, the bus picks me up and takes me near my home, the teachers, lessons and activities were wonderful.

But the thing i most remember is my happiness being ripped apart, it happened when i joined the soccer team for sport. Because i didn't fully understand the official rules of soccer and wasn't a great player, i was made to quit and go to another sport without my consent.  I hated the badminton sport but as a child i could do nothing.

Every-time i think of this school, i think of that moment. Even though i made memories at school camp, excursions, trips, school classes and system of a private school was one of the things i never regret trying.

I believe if in the last 10 years this school has changed to let the students decide their future then it would be a great school.

For Parents i advise to let your child try public and private and let them choose where they want to study. I completed my study in public after doing half a year in this private school.

Public has the advantage of freedom while Private provides a restricted guided experience towards school life and field of view.

I believe letting the child no matter the age decide on what they want is the true way of letting them live a happy life with fulfilled dreams.

I can say per a fact at the age of 12 i had the mindset to decide my future and where i belong and that was public. We live in a multicultural country and public schools fully represent multiculturalism.

Although the rules may be a little strict, it’s all for the benefit of the students. The education is great, the school teachers are very supportive and kind, and the school facilities and grounds are excellent. I would recommend this school to anyone that’s been seeing it as a potential place to go to.

this school is the best it is like one big family and God speaks through the teachers. This school not only has a great education but it also shows Gods love for everyone.Its not like a normal public school this school has lots of camps and fun activities so i highly recommend this school

I attended Redeemer for three years and during those three years I came to realise that this school is a little bit more strict than your typical public school. But what I had experienced at this school was something no kid should have to go through.

I was in year six and me and my family had decided to book a two week cruise to Vanuatu. Because it was two weeks my parents assumed that it was fine because other students in my class had done similar trips. On the day of the cruise my parents received an email informing them that there child had been terminated / expelled from this school and was no longer eligible for my end of year report. which meant my parents couldn't enroll me into another school because no school will take you if they don't have both of you semester reports.

And to make things even worse they didn't even return any of my belongings and i still don't know where they are. Eventually after persevering for two weeks the school handed over my report card and i was able to enroll into a new school.

Due to my personal experience i would not recommend this school to any parent unless they want to torture their kids and leave them traumatised for the rest of their lives.

I wish i could give this school no stars, kings and tara are better than this. if you cant afford it please just go to a local public school, this school doesn't even have a good education.
