Goodstart Early Learning Fairfield Heights is located in close proximity to the Boulevard Shopping Precinct and next to Fairfield Heights Public School. We have plenty of onsite parking and are close to public transport, shops banks and the Post office. The centre provides care and education for children aged 2 to 5 years. We are privileged to have many cultures represented in the centre, and have built strong networks with support services in the local community.   All educators have worked in the centre over extensive periods including relief staff and therefore positive relationships have been established based on trust and honesty.     Many of the educators speak languages other than English which includes Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Italian, Arabic, Thai and Indonesian. Educators are qualified in accordance to NSW regulations. Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colorful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.   This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.   Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. We have a qualified cook providing tasty, nutritious well balanced meals for children.   We encourage families to come in and share stories, knowledge and aspects of their culture and occupations with us in a non-confrontational casual manner. We have strong connections with our community through participating in community events such as tree day and Christmas hampers for those in need. Our centre values our community, we have received certificates of recognition from the Salvation Army for helping out people in need of a helping hand. We also include many community service activities into our curriculum, such as The Fire dept., The Police and Bravhearts who come to our centre to interact and share knowledge with our children.   We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your family and learn a little about how we can best support you on the journey of lifelong learning.

Additional Centre Information

Sharon Ho

Centre Director

Hi! I’m Sharon and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Fairfield Heights.

I have a long and comprehensive history with our centre, I have worked here since 2003 to begin with as a casual staff member, and a parent too, before becoming Centre Director in 2006. These prior experiences provided me with an overall perspective from different roles. I have my Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services).

I have been living in Fairfield since 1996, and I see my role as an educator as being a privilege. Being part of children’s early learning is very rewarding.  I am a people person and love my job and it gives me great satisfaction to oversee the provision of a safe, nurturing and educational environment for the children that attend our centre.

Seeing the families who keep coming back, trusting us in caring for their children and our wonderful caring educators give me great pride in the work we do here at Goodstart Fairfield Heights.

Drop in and say hello! We would love to make you and your family welcome and the centre and discuss how we can start your child on a journey of lifelong learning.
