I graduated from Amity Girls High School in 2018, and my experience there was mainly positive. The school grounds, particularly the library and outdoor areas, provided space to relax and recharge outside the classroom. Most of my teachers genuinely cared about my academic progress and personal development, both inside and outside the classroom. When I faced challenges with my schoolwork, several teachers went above and beyond, offering additional support beyond their regular hours. This dedication highlighted their passion for teaching and care for their students' success. However, I believe there are areas for improvement. I would suggest fostering a stronger sense of pride and identity among both staff and students. Additionally, the girls high school could benefit from a more effective disciplinary process. There were times when classroom disruptions made it difficult to concentrate, and I noticed some teachers struggled to manage rebellious behavior. It was disheartening to see some educators express dissatisfaction with the school, as this not only impacted the overall learning environment but also exacerbated student conflicts. While I attended the girls' high school, my brother is currently in primary school, and I believe a different approach is needed for younger students. It's important for them to enjoy their childhood without excessive focus on academics. I’ve noticed that some of my brother's teachers can be overly strict about minor issues, which I think detracts from a positive learning environment. I believe primary school teachers should focus on guiding students and teaching them essential skills to prepare them for high school, rather than overwhelming them with content. I've seen my brother struggle to keep up with classwork, often feeling overwhelmed because he couldn't take notes quickly enough. I believe it’s crucial for younger students to build a strong foundation without feeling stressed. Teachers from both schools should have mandatory and ongoing training regarding how to handle these issues. Looking back, I cherish the memories and friendships I made at Amity, and I often share stories with friends and colleagues about the impactful experiences I had, thanks to the dedication of several remarkable teachers. However, both schools can enhance the educational experience by prioritising a supportive environment that fosters growth and development in differing ways.

went to the school for 5 years, I was 7 years old being tought about judgement day!!!! it terrified me and the rest of the students and I still have panic/anxiety attacks about it today (I’m almost 18). Insane amounts of bullying with teachers not doing anything about it either even if telling them and have no care about the children's mental health
