Young Academics Early Learning Centre Hoxton Park

First off, we booked a tour and where offered a position for our child on the spot that we were also told was available when we booked the tour. We waited for someone to call us with the information on how to pay the bond as we were instructed someone would do so when we happily told them on the spot we could take the days available. No one called. So we called them to be told the position that was offered to us that we already accepted was given to a “internal family” and that all open positions are priority to “internal families” “per their policy” I asked to see this policy where it states this? Wasn’t shown and all of a sudden she was going to draw me up a policy? Since when are available positions taken from you and given to internal family’s? Had my 2.5 year old excited purchased her a school bag and the works on the way home with the pure intentions she had been given the positions available all for them to be take 3 hours after we already said we would take them to someone else. She told me over the phone that someone called at 12:30pm and asked to take it, when we were told it was ours at 10:30am! Disappointed is a understatement and the pure lies that she told on the phone is just a turn off in itself on the whole centre. If she can lie to me about a whole legal policy & then proceed to tell me she would write one up on the spot and send it to me is crazy. I asked to speak to the manager and apparently they cannot put me through. Completely unprofessional behaviour. Also witnessed a child push another so hard he cried on the tour, then proceeded to continue to taunt the boy after it happened. And the worker wasn’t surprised. No report was made right after I asked them how the reports work they told me anything that occurs a report is instantly made. I stood and waited while the little boy cried no one made a report. I should have known better just from witnessing this incident.

My daughter absolutely loves going! All educators at YA are friendly, professional and caring. The centre is clean and well kept! Great hands on activities and daily updates with photos on their app!

Hello .. my name is amenamunni I am working As a casual here … I am so happy that I found young Academics all educator r very friendly supportive and very helpful. also director so helpful ,I never see in my lif such a nice and well behaviour.director and very kind they never pressured me during my work time ..😊I feel like comfort zone here… I am so grateful to have here…. Very unfortunate but we had a terrible experience at YA Hoxton Park only after 3 months of attendance. My little girl got bitten on 3 X different occasions by a bigger boy who we were told bites the educators also (by the area manager). They dismissed our original concerns even after I had advised them that she had bite marks on her. They did not take our concerns seriously till it happened for the last time and was seen on the CCTV. Their solution was to keep my little one inside and have her less outside time even when she wasn't the instigator!! They might have beautiful premises and lovely playground, there was no duty of care for my child and on top of that dismissing my concerns when I have photo proof of bite marks on my child.

Couldn't ask for a better childcare center, the staff are lovely, very loving and caring towards the children. They are also very helpful and friendly when you ask about the update on your child. They are also very attentive and genuinely care for the children as if it was their family. I'm very happy and so is my daughter, because of them, she loves going to school and couldn't wait to go to school.

Great childcare beautiful and friendly staff so happy my son attend this childcare he's very happy and enjoying everytime he go's there teachers are so beautiful respecting and caring ❤️
