Note: This is not a fake review - Shelly is my short name  / Rochelle being my full name. Our son went to Kinda Kapers for 6 months. To start it was okay - never appeared to be very clean though. The afternoons were chaos when we'd pick him up, he would have other kids clothes packed in his bag, bottles missing or worse full bottles left in the bag indicating that they hadn't given him a bottle all day. He would get sick every week after spending 1 day there. No communication (in terms of apps) so you'd have no idea what they'd done all day or if he'd eaten anything/slept. One day I picked him up from daycare and he got in the car and was screaming for water - I gave him my water bottle and he drank the whole bottle at one (600ml) so clearly he hadn't had anything to drink all day (at the age of 2yrs old). Within 6 months all the staff had left without notifying any of the parents. Each week they had new replacement educators, they had no idea who anyone's children were, their names etc. It was very disruptive and unsettling for our son. We ended up pulling him out once we were fully aware of everything that was going on. We enrolled him in another centre which was the complete opposite to what we had experienced. It took my son 6 months to settle in to his new daycare but now he loves it.

Staff care about the children they look after, are friendly and do an outstanding job, highly recommended. My daughter has been attending for about 2 years.

Kinda Kapers at Charlestown provides an individualised, targeted program for each child that is transdiciplinary and evidence based. Our daughter, who has some additional attention needs, is comprehensively supported to reach her learning and development goals. The manager Jamie has an extensive educational background in early childhood development and continues to be innovative with her approaches to wholistic education. If you’re wanting a more personalised approach this is the centre for your family. We love it!!!
