We highly recommend Henry Street Community Preschool as both our children have attended and absolutely thrived in this warm, welcoming learning environment. With little to no turnover, the educators provide stability with a friendly face to greet you and your children every time. I particularly like their free play based learning letting children be creative and explore. Our son loves attending to the vegetable garden and has learnt so much about sustainability and caring for the environment, he is a little "water hero"!

Henry Street Preschool is a warm, comfortable, natural, play based and loving environment for preschool kids and I highly recommend it. They are very creative and also explore sustainability, culture, animals and so many other parts of ‘real life’ it’s really hands on for kids and encourages active learning and fun! The staff are just beautiful and go above and beyond to ensure your child, and the whole family, are happy. My eldest 2 children have loved Henry Street and my youngest can’t wait until she is older so she can go to.

We LOVE Henry Street Preschool. The teachers are warm and loving, my son feels like he is hanging out with his aunties all day (his words, not mine). There is a real focus on sustainability and caring for the environment and the world around us. They do a lot of gardening and the kids get involved in all aspects, from planting to watering to trying out all the fruit and veg once it has grown. The daily program is very much driven by the kids, which is just lovely. For example, the kids were asking lots of questions about bees, so the teachers pulled out the books and the i-pads and they all learned together. The kids were encouraged to ask questions and to help take responsibility in teaching themselves new things. They are also very keen on incorporating aspects of each families culture and experience, which is fantastic as they have a great little diverse group there and it is wonderful to hear the kids learning about each others backgrounds and customs etc. They have been wonderful in getting the bigger kids ready for kindergarten and helping them to feel comfortable and ready for this big move. My youngest has been begging to go, and can't wait until she is old enough to play in 'the jungle' and feed the chickens.

My boys loved going to Henry Street Preschool. Such a warm inviting atmosphere.

Henry Street Preschool is a lovely community preschool. The staff are very warm and welcoming. My children love attending Henry Street!
