Wonderful Centre. Staff are amazing with our sons, one of whom has additional needs. The kids are safe, secure, inspired to learn and develop.  The staff are friendly and I most importantly,  we trust them entirely to take care of our sons when we are working. We feel confident in Goodstart Thornton, highly recommended!

This centre is amazing and the staff are just as amazing. They have always made my family feel right at home, the teachers are super attentive and helpful. The girls always go above and beyond for the kids and families. They honestly don't get paid enough for what they do. Keep up the amazing work ladies 😍😍

We cannot be happier with Goodstart Thornton. My 3.5 year old started when she was 16 months of age and right away we felt part of the Goodstart family. My daughter's development increased in leaps and bounds and she is absolutely thriving thanks to the amazing attention of the staff as well as the careful planning of the programs.  Our daughter has always been cared for and loved as if she was one of her educator's own children. Day's are structured particularly around what our children are interested in at that moment, and what they would like to do during the day.  The children are always encouraged to reach big and nurtured to reach the next goal. We love that our girls are exposed to learning about many different cultures and gaining a respect for them as well. When our second daughter came along, it made the decision to place her in care so easy, knowing she would be in such a loving environment. We would not hesitate to recommend this centre to anyone.

Couldn't recommend Goodstart in Thornton more! They are focused on teaching the children so many diverse subjects but also make it fun to learn. My son's language and social development are so much further than I would have ever expected! But they are also kind and genuinely care for the children.

Goodstart Early Learning Thornton is nestled in Somerset Park in Thornton with many families living in the local area. Our centre is a 64 place centre catering for children aged six weeks through to the transition to school.  

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Learning Framework and is implemented by highly qualified and experienced teachers and educators.

We value the power of play as a process by which children learn and an essential component for healthy growth and development. Our focus on literacy and STEM forms the basis for our academic curriculum an essential part of our holistic approach to children’s learning.

Our key educator approach fosters positive relationships between children, educators and families and supports the social and emotional learning of all children from our youngest babies to our more experienced preschoolers. We have a comprehensive preschool program and partnership with local school’s support children and families as they navigate this important transition from preschool to school.

Our outdoor play spaces offer opportunities for children to connect with nature and explore sustainable practices as they tend to our worm farm and veggie patches.  

Meals are prepared on site with our qualified chef offering a variety of delicious and healthy meals.

Partnerships with families are valued and we encourage family involvement and collaboration. Our Storypark platform provides a means for connection and enhanced communication between families and the centre.
