One of the workers smacked my child , grabbed his arm to the point of bruising and covered his mouth when he cried. Still awaiting response from multiple emails and attempts of contact that I have sent and made over the last 10 months. The worker still works there despite formal reports being made. - I'd also like to add that they thought my child was non verbal and didn't realise it was selective mutism. To hurt a child is one thing, but to think you would get away with it based on the assumption my child couldn't talk. Disgusting Reach out when you grow some balls to have a chat matt.

My daughter was enrolled at Live & Learn from March 2021 to December 2022. I was satisfied with the care provided to an extent. Most of the staff who looked after the kids were friendly. I wasn't happy that even though there were paint smocks, they were never put on the kids, so my daughter's clothes would be covered in paint whenever the kids did art. I also couldn't understand why her hands and face couldn't be cleaned before I picked her up. I met the owners once and I wasn't impressed. It is the owners that I have a major complaint about. Although my daughter finished in December last year and her enrolment was formally ended in January, Live & Learn continued to take direct debits from my account after this for about six weeks. Since then I have been waiting for them to reimburse me the $700 they owe. I have contacted them a number of times and each time was told I would be paid. I'm still waiting. Do not trust the owners.

Currently being charged 100 hours a fortnight of our child care subsidy but he attends 40 a fortnight Got double charged for day care last week and have attempted 4 times to call today and after listening to about live and learn academy being one big family it hangs up on me Most of my family members don’t hang up on me before actually taking the call so I don’t think the catch phrase matches the service provided Further more our son comes home most days with bruising on his knees and more recently his backside. This does not happen at his other day care and I can accept our son is adventurous but why bruising on his back side and any incident that occurs we are rarely provided with an explanation for this. Lastly we have to regularly return to the day care on days off to collect his belongings or wander around the day care finding this belongings. We have tried to be positive about our experience here but after seeing him attend another day care 3 days a week it’s evident the quality of this centre is severely lacking in many regards If someone could get in contact with me so we could be appropriately refunded for being over charged and have our subsidy hours correct so centerlink can reprocess this on the asap that would be great. This was my daughters first daycare experience. Started off absolutely amazing, all the educators were lovely and friendly to my daughter. She clung to one educator and still mentions her sometimes. Sometime last year my subsidy was cut. They contacted me and I tried to fix it up but couldn’t I was also heavily pregnant and in and out of hospital each week. They ended up saying my child’s enrolment would be cancelled but I owe $ to them which is fine. (Had a problem with my card earlier in the year and I tried to sort it but never happened) I had emailed a few times trying to sort a payment plan for the money owed but have still heard nothing. I still receive emails that my payment has failed. Not sure why I’m still being charged when they cancelled the enrolment months and months ago. Other than this the educators are lovely like I said above!

I do NOT recommend Taree live and learn. I've had really bad experiences here. For example. The manager is NEVER there to open on time (always made excuses) I would have to leave my child with an educator out the front until they opened, times frames varied, I left one morning at 650am and the manager still wasn't there to open the centre. Furthermore, they have ZERO resources for the children. I've put in a complaint and owners response "thanks for bringing it to my attention" with nil changes, I've since moved centres.
