The teachers are wonderful! Very caring and create great, hands-on learning activities for the kids. Both of my little ones love going everyday. The pool is a bonus for the kids and great for our hot Darwin days.

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Stuart Park is located in the inner Darwin Area along the Stuart Highway. This makes the centre popular with people who work in Darwin City and for those who work in Palmerston.  

Our dedicated staff are warm and friendly and we have a number of staff members who are currently studying for their Certificate III or Diploma of Children's Services. The staff at Goodstart Stuart Park strive to provide children with learning experiences that encourage and promote their development.

Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.

Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

At our centre all educators are always available for open communication with families and feedback is encouraged. We have parents' communication books in all the rooms and Directors communication logs in the office.

This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements

We are lucky to have a swimming pool which helps us cool down on hot days. Our children learn where their food comes from first hand on our centre’s vegetable patch and children help tend the garden which is enjoyed by all!
