Definitely one of the best daycare in the city. Amazing staff and great location. The rooms are quite new, very nice and always clean, the food for the kids is prepared fresh every day inside the location. Absolutely Recommend!!!

The staff and educators here are always very helpful. I never have an issues in dropping my daughter off in the morning. I have so much trust in leaving my daughter with everyone that works in this centre. She is so happy when I drop her off there. You guys are awesome!

Very friendly and caring staff, nice facility with big outdoor area which is quite rare for a centre in the city. ALSO, the chef is great!

All I can say is WOW this truely is a place for learning! Mandy the centre Manager was so helpful and patient with us on deciding where to send our 10 month old baby boy. With the other lovely staff including Hannah the team leader in the nursery room along with Tesh and the on-site chef Nicholette (who makes better food for my baby than I do) just made us feel so welcome, reassured on our first day and first time experience in daycare.
Can’t wait to see my little guy learn 💙

About The Learning Sanctuary Mary Street Long Daycare and Kindergarten.

Welcome to The Learning Sanctuary Mary Street. We're ideally located for families who live or work in the Brisbane CBD or nearby suburbs Fortitude Valley, Spring Hill, Petrie Terrace and Milton.

Our Long Daycare and Kindergarten Centre provides early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

At The Learning Sanctuary Mary Street, we provide convenient, full care coverage from 9hr, 10hr or full days, 5 days per week, including school holidays.

Our longstanding, multicultural and dedicated team of Teachers and Educators provide a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment - where your child can thrive, and be their wonderful self, every day.

We offer a great variety of learning experiences at The Learning Sanctuary Mary Street including:
- Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. We also have regular African drumming sessions as part of our music and movement program Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music - and of course, have fun.
- Sports Program: Allows the children to be active and learn about different sports and movements.
- Community engagement activities: We often have visits from local community librarians, local police, and other community services in Brisbane City to help familiarise the children with their local community. We also have excursions to our local park and botanical gardens to assist our Kindergarten/ Preschool children with their transition to ‘big school’.
- Sustainability Program: Each age group participates in a sustainability project that helps children embed sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of looking after and protecting our planet.  We also have a sustainability officer who focuses on telling our sustainability story. She has a scrapbook and makes plans around sustainable practices and how we incorporate this into our learning journey.

Getting school ready? We offer the 4-year-old Government-approved Kindergarten program that helps ensure your child has a successful transition to formal schooling.

Our centre offers the QLD Government-approved ‘Free Kindy’ Program. At The Learning Sanctuary Mary Street, your child will benefit from the QLD ‘Free Kindy’ Government-approved program as part of our enhanced learning program. Our Kindergarten program will support your child’s learning, development, and well-being for now, at school and beyond.
