Parent Reviews
We are extremely happy with BFM Wavell Heights and would highly recommend. Our daughter has absolutely flourished since starting in the nursery room in 2021. Our daughter loves her educators who go above and beyond in providing a beautiful space and presence for child-centred learning and development via the Montessori philosophy. The Centre's provided meals are cooked fresh (often filling the centre with a delicious smell in the morning) and provide a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits and protein sources which helps support nutrition across the day. The Centre staff are friendly and warm and very open to feedback and openly seek input from families re: quality improvement. Thank you for all that you have done for our daughter.
A wonderful centre that has a 'home away from home' feel. The staff are very kind and nurturing, and deliver high quality Montessori educational programs. Our child is thriving at the centre and we are delighted to be part of the Building Futures Montessori community.
This centre is very professionally run and our childs language, development and social skills have been thriving since she began attending at age one.
My kids have been going to the centre for 5 years now and I wouldn’t want them left anywhere else. I always walk away knowing that my kids are in the best hands and well looked after. Their days are always filled with fun filled leaning activities which we are always informed about. When it’s time for pick up my kids are always wanting to stay for one more play with the great friends they have made there.
We have sent our children here since 2015 and have only praise for wonderful educators here. They don’t seem to churn through the staff like other centres and lots of the faces that I see at drop off now are the same ones that I saw at drop off 5 years ago. Both of our kids have blossomed at BFM and I can go to work knowing that they are in good hands. I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else.
I have had two children attend this centre from age 2.5 and plan on sending my third child also. One visit to this centre and it will give you a “gut feeling” that your kids will be safe and lovingly cared for here. Staff are friendly, good-humoured, gentle, dedicated to the Montessori educational ethos, always open to feedback and communicate transparently with parents. The centre has a lovely homely/backyard feel with real grass, veggie patches, native bees, guinea pigs, and chooks running around. Overall, it’s been a wonderful community for our kids to be a part of.
Absolutely amazing education experience for young children. So glad that we invested in the Montessori method and these particular educators. I'm quite an anxious Mother and here I'm reassured that my kids are emotionally physically and intellectually cared for.
The service is OK.
The centre is envrionmental friendly by using cloth nappies. They would give baby a shower after lunch which is really good for the babies hygiene and quality of nap. The communication app is good, normally has 2 photos for my son per day.
However, the educator rarely knows what had happened to my son. seems lack of handover or observation to my son. super careful and would let me take the boy home immediately after they noticed minor concern, e.g tiny spot on leg . But they appears too sensitive in that way.
