My name is Sarah Ohlsen; I am honoured to be Center Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Wavell Heights.
I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services and have worked in the early childhood industry since 2005. I have been with Goodstart Early Learning and at Wavell Heights since 2016.
I strive to ensure the centre achieves a high standard, where each and every child has the chance to thrive and reach their full potential.
Watching the children learn and grow each day whilst in our care is the most rewarding part of my job!

Goodstart Wavell Heights has provided an nurturing, engaging and flexible learning environment for my children over the past 6 years. Many educators have been at the centre since we started in 2018 and have become our second family. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic center, Nikki the director has been such a supportive help with our kids and their subsidies which has allowed me to heal myself. My boy has the most wonderful teacher Miss Ling who creates such a wonder structure getting them ready for prep. Miss Mel in PreK is so nurturing. There is so many more beautiful and joyful dedicated educators that make for a safe and supportive environment I'm so grateful for Goodstart Wavel heights.

All the educators seem very very lovely. My kids was and is in Melissa room and they loved it.
Melissa is a wonderful educator, she has a very lovely gentle appoach and a caring nature. My older son is a little shy and sensitive boy but everyday he would say Miss Mel is his best friend and he always want to go there. I am so glad my girl is in Mel's room as well.

Couldn’t be any happier with GS Wavell Heights. They’ve been very helpful with the enrolment process of things and was able to get my daughter started within the next week. My daughter struggled with her previous daycare and never settled even after 6 months but only took her 1-2 days at this centre! Highly recommend this centre 👍
Excellent facility, always clean and staff are polite and helpful
Coming from a large centre my children have loved the small centre feel at GS Wavell Heights. The staff are very attentive and caring to the children. The Gourmet kids food has been great, the girls love eating their hot lunches each day. The focus is on quality time with children and less about being on an iPad and doing documentation in the classrooms. There is separate, covered time to do these things so I feel the care and relationships are much better. There is always honesty from all staff about my children's day's, behaviors and interactions, which I love.
