Additional Centre Information

Communify Queensland is an established community organisation providing a diverse range of services

1978

Communify originated when a small group of local residents formed the Red Hill Paddington Community Centre (RHPCC) on Caxton Street. The purpose of the centre was to provide activities, support and advocacy services for locals.

1993

The RHPCC moved to new premises at 180 Jubilee Terrace in Bardon – which is our main office today.

2007

The RHPCC was renamed Communify Queensland to better align with our vision and mission. The new name also reflects the fact that although we are a local agency, our services are far-reaching and extend beyond just the surrounding suburbs.

2021

Over the years we’ve expanded Communify’s range of programs and services to respond to the evolving needs of our diverse community.

KindiCare ReviewOctober 02, 2024
Our now 4yo who is off to Kindy next year has attended since 15 mo and our 2nd now 13 mo is booked to start shortly at their 15 month incoming age group cutoff. We love this childcare centre for it's mixed age group, small dedicated team of full time educators, small overall group size and indoor/outdoor flow with the hard and soft landscaping beneath the giant trees providing a sun safe outdoor play and learning space. The educational program is excellent, diverse and well intentioned with kindness and community in its core. The small group of dedicated full time educators means that throughout the years our child has formed long term deeper relationships with the educators which provides a win both for our child, us as parents and for the educators themselves, who are in our experience genuinely caring and kind people, with the childrens experience and growth front and centre. The small group size of mixed age children makes sense to us in providing for a more diverse social learning and playing environment for our child. To us it is preferable to a room of 20-30 kids of the same age who might move to a different set of educators year on year as can be the case in bigger centres. I have no hesitation in recommending the centre to any parent looking for a more boutique experience for their child, while staying within the safety of a fully regulated highly rated professional and dedicated childcare centre environment. It has been a joy to see our child develop here and have him always happy to tell us of his adventures at the end of each day and come home with his daily craft creations. We look forward to the same for our second child over the coming years.

My daughter has been attending Communify for a year and a half now and we couldn't be happier! We love that there is only one, mixed-age group with the same educators, who really take the time to get to know each child and their interests. It's been lovely to see my daughter grow in such a caring environment, knowing she feels safe and comfortable. I'd recommend Communify to any parent looking for a small, supportive centre!

For 5 years we were part of the Communify Daycare family and couldn’t have been happier! I love that it’s a small and multi age centre - the little ones learn so much from the older kids and the older kids learn to care and nurture the young ones. There’s a true family feel with so much care and love! The lovely teachers, beautiful environment, resident guineapigs Tiger and Bear and many good friends that we made over the years - we love you all! Thank you 🙏 🥰

My children have been attending Communify since 2018 and they love it. Communify is a small centre, which provides a family care approach. I like that the centre is not divided into sections, and all of the children are in a smaller, mixed aged setting. My two children are able to spend the day playing together with their friends. The staff have been at the centre for a long time and the children have positive and strong relationships with all of the staff. We recently returned from our Christmas break and both of my children ran to give the teachers hugs on their return. The staff are able to provide a program that meets the needs of every age level, and it is always evolving based on the children's interests and needs. The staff have a genuine interest and care for the children and I highly recommend the service to other families.

We were thrilled to get a spot in Communify for our child. The centre is small, personalised, and runs like a big (structured!) family. The open age, single-room means that our child is very comfortable with older kids and learning to care for the little ones. Also means there isn’t a big drama each year with the room / teacher change. The Centre Manager is experienced, consistent and ensures there is a high standard of care for the children. It’s not a huge space but is very thoughtfully laid out, and there is ample indoor and outdoor space for the children to go between.
Jo and the staff at Communify Bardon are like leaving your children with loving aunties. I wouldn't have left my young children anywhere else. The teachers and carers are loving, respectful and caring to all of the children. The new kindergarten program for kindy aged children is wonderful. My children always came/come home so happy and calm after having such a wonderful day. We will be sad to leave when my youngest starts school next year.
My daughter attended this daycare for a year - its the most beautiful place, with wonderful staff who care whole heartedly for the children they look after. If only we hadn't had to move cities ... child care like this is difficult to find!
