This is a lovely kindy for your child to attend. There are 2 outdoor play areas for kids to explore and the teachers are all lovely.

kindergarten with 5-day fortnight schedules. the price for the service is much more economical than in many other kindergartens and has good quality of education

Very good school, with patient and inspiring teachers and assistants.

My daughter goes to the kindy and love it.

St Lucia Kindergarten is rated overall as “Exceeding National Quality Standard” 

At St Lucia Kindy, we believe that children learn best when they are engaged in active, child-led play. Our educators provide an inviting yet challenging environment that offers opportunities for learning across a wide range of areas in our well-resourced classrooms and large natural outdoor areas. 

Our key focus is on building secure and respectful relationships with all children and families.

Located close to UQ, many of our families have international backgrounds. We are proud to have such a wonderful diverse community and celebrate the many cultures and languages of our families.

Children can attend St Lucia Kindy from 3 years of age.

St Lucia Kindy:
- offers 2, 3 or 5 day places with After Kindy Care until 5:30pm
- is located next to Ironside State School (and has a strong relationship with the school)
- has large natural outdoor playgrounds with beautiful gardens and trees
- includes fantastic excursions and incursions in our program
- offers Nature Play Excursions for children to our local bush reserve
- holds regular social events for families to build relationships
