Goodstart Early Learning Indooroopilly - York Street

I am grateful for my time at Goodstart Indooroopilly York Street. The supportive staff and warm, welcoming environment made it a joy to work there. The children's smiles and the positive team spirit were highlights of my experience. I'll miss you!!

The Goodstart at York Street is our second home. When I moved from India to Brisbane last year I was very anxious and unsure about which center to enroll my little one into. Choosing this center was the best decision we made. I cannot emphasize enough about how good, empathetic, efficient and wonderful the educators here are. They give more than 100 percent to every single child. My daughter has developed a wonderful bond with all of them and it is only because of all the love, warmth and efforts taken by them. I know my daughter is safe and well taken care of when she is at the center. The regular updates on the app, the daily story with all the pictures keep me informed about my child's routine. Every single person working here has all my respect and they deserve all the appreciation. To not exaggerate, we had gone for a vacation for 12 days to Melbourne and I had to call the educators because my daughter was missing them and she wanted to speak to them. This is what the center is to her; home and family. Highly, highly recommended!

My 2 year old son has been with the centre for around 1 year now and I must say that the director (Isobel) and educators (especially my son’s main educator Veena and Prasanna) are amazing! When my son sees Veena at the centre, he always run towards her and gives her a big cuddle. This action speaks a lot on the educators bonding and connection with the kids, which I really appreciate. We get a very detailed app updates on what activities my son has been involved for the day and what learning outcomes/milestones he has achieved. There are also plenty of photos and even videos everyday to see my son participate in those daily activities. I like it that the area is huge compared to other centres at Indooroopilly and always kept clean and tidy. My son often comes back singing and dancing the songs that they learn at the centre and I can tell that he is really happy about it. Really recommend this centre!

방문해본 유치원중에 제일 깨끗하게 관리됨. 특히나 너서리룸은 진짜 관리가 잘되어있음. 센터가 엄청 큰데아기들이 없는게 이상함. 그래서 더 좋음. 한국 선생님도 있고 선생님들이 먼저 인사해주는곳이 생각보다 드문데 다들 잘 신경써줌. 선생님들이 아이들 이름 다 알고 진짜 사랑해주는게 느껴짐. 문제 생기면 진짜 바로 피드백 해주고 사진 겁나 많이 찍어줌. ㅎㅎㅎ 남자선생님도 계신데 진짜 좋음. 센터 커서 애들이 뛰 놀수 있고 디렉터가 겁나 친절하고 피드백 진짜 개 잘해줌. 이게 킬포임. 문제발생하고 바로 업뎃 해주는거 너무 좋음. 여기 왜 애들이 없는지 모르겟으나 나는 너무 좋다 울딸 널서리부터 토들러까지 다니는 중이고 옮길생각 없음. 선크림 내피 간식2번 점심 모자 옷 다 제공해주는데 나처럼 풀타맘은 여기보다 좋은 곳 없음. ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ It's the best-managed kindergarten I've visited. Especially, the nursery room is exceptionally well-maintained. They really take care of cleanliness and pay attention to detail. You can feel that the teachers genuinely love the children. My daughter has been attending for a year now, and they provide excellent care from the nursery to the toddler class. They promptly give feedback and strive for improvement when issues arise. This aspect is very commendable. We also have a great relationship with the director and educators.

Our son is almost 4 years old and has been going here since before he was over 1. The staff are genuine, informative and loving. They communicate and are transparent about everything. Isobel- Director and new admin Jamila are amazing, they are always there to help with any questions you may have. I was nervous at first but I am comfortable with their care now. My son loves it and has made many new friends. I love the safety measures they have in place and feel super safe with my kid being here. I would highly recommend this childcare as a great place for your child.

Goodstart york st was my eldest first choice after we had several centre tours. Of course we went to those fancy new centres, but he chose here. Everyone’s just friendly and easy to talk to. His educators are very open for me to talk to and I can feel they’re genuinely care for my kids. Isobel, the director, is very helpful too. plenty of offstreet drop off/pick up spots. there’s a bus stop nearby to city and UQ, very convenient for working parent like me.

We are extremely pleased with our experience at Goodstart Early Learning Indooroopilly - York Street. Communication with the staff is excellent. We receive regular updates on our child's progress and daily activities through the app, which keeps us informed and involved in our child's learning journey. The centre also promotes a strong sense of community, organising events and parent involvement activities that enhance the overall experience for both children and parents. I rarely review anything. but would like to state our experience and you can form your own views. No complaint about the carers. In terms of admin, when the previous Centre manager was there, it was fantastic. She remembers everyone's name and always went above and beyond to make you feel looked after. She then went on leave. We gave notice a couple of weeks ago (even that was not responded to until I chased up). They accidentally cancelled one of our kids off the list on the last day. I raised the issue and was told it was fixed. What followed was dealing with someone else who was not aware of what happened about a payment for services occurred after our last day which was just not correct. No appreciation that some parents may be time poor and would really like to avoid admin back and forth such as this.

You must be very confident when leaving your child at someone else’s care for most of the day. Parents must be sure that the little ones are happy and safe. Great space, loving educators, amazing staff. I found these and much more at this centre. 💙 My son made new friends. My son learnt so much and developed new skills, created beautiful bonds and was truly happy! My son attended this centre for one year and he only left because we moved houses. And both of us miss Goodstart York Street. Thank you Isobel and all the staff for such lovely memories and caring moments. I can mention so many names here that I’m so thankful… You are the best!!!

This is our day care centre. There are plenty of others in the area and I went to most of them when I first started looking for a place for my child. Whilst most of the others are fine, some of them even newer and fancier, you can't deny the feel and vibe you get from a place and from the people you meet there. Good Start just felt right from the beginning. And my gut instinct hasn't let me down. The staff here are amazing and my child loves the educators, which makes all the difference. Great centre, highly recommended.
