St Peters Lutheran College.

Met some good people while I was here. As for the quality of teaching, it ranges widely from those are passionate and caring about what they do, to some who are just unnecessarily strict, and on a power trip. Absolutely harmless and barely noticeable uniform infringements can land you a day's suspension. Those who are in charge mostly just care about preserving the school's precious and fragile image for the sake of raking in more money, instead of caring about the concerns of students who are currently attending. As a student who goes to this school, I can say that it is the best school I have been to.

They have nice teachers, students and other staff.

We have had such a positive experience at St Peters. With our eldest daughter currently studying medicine and our youngest on target to achieve the results required to head into engineering, we are so thankful to have been able to make the move from another private school to St Peters. Friends of ours recommended the school after both of their boys loved their years there and both went into medicine, my only regret is not making the change earlier. There are no excuses and students are expected to have a high standard, it has absolutely paid off for us and our girls though. The best money we ever spent on our children. Thank-you to all of the staff of St Peters, you are exceptional.

Shocking school for both students and parents. This schools main focus is to milk as much money and free advertising as they can from you.

Boarding school is comparable to a prison. Don’t think about trying to climb a tree, go for an “unsupervised” walk or have any sort of fun that might have the slightest chance of injury (wouldn’t want any of the rich parents suing the school now, would they?) Not sure why it’s so expensive anyway. Staff sit around all day on their phones waiting to get paid while they refuse to interact with kids that are locked in the building 24x7. The meals provided are cheap, unsatisfying, and wildly unhealthy.

This school is so worried about their appearance they’ll force all boarders to “support” their sports teams on Saturdays. That’s right, have your child woken at 7am on Saturday to get dressed in school uniform to preserve the schools reputation then get back at 5pm to eat cold disgusting dinners. What more could you want on your weekend?

School rules are focused on preserving the schools reputation rather than keeping a safe and stable environment for students. They only care about student safety and well-being when they fear something getting out to the public.

Don’t bother spending thousands of dollars here to have a PE Teacher incompetently teach LEGAL STUDIES because they somehow can’t afford to get a real lawyer to teach it. While the public school across the road ranks higher in OP / Academic scores.

Students are not taught any practical life skills. They aren’t taught anything practical or useful but rather they are forced by stern over-aggressive teachers to slave away learning about things that will never be practical for them so at the end of the year they get a result that tells them if they’re worthy of living a good life.

If you’ve got mountains of disposable income, and want your children to grow up as docile complacent robots instead of free thinking independent and driven individuals: this is the perfect school for you. Plus you don’t even have to raise your children if you don’t want to. Just use your cash to have somebody do it for you, then you can pick and chose when it’s convenient for you to be a parent regardless of if it’s better for your children to be with you.

This is purely opinion-based. I am not claiming anything. You are free to decide for yourself what you think of the school. ( AKA please don’t sue me because this school didn’t teach me how to make money)
