My daughter has struggled with friendships from year 5 until year 8 this year. I have asked for support with her learning as she struggled and the teachers were not putting effort in helping her even though she had tried to express her difficulties. The bullying procedures are useless, until your child finally has enough of it and starts to react to the bullies, then the school will come down hard on you. My daughter has been indirectly been asked to leave the school because she reacted "insppropriately" to her bullies, or because she allows peer pressure to do silly things that teenagers sometimes do. Plenty of verbal support, but not enough action to support children been bullied or excluded.

I went to the school today for a tour. My son is sick so he couldn’t come. As I’m waiting, a lady comes out (not the admin lady) and asks for Josiah. I let her know he’s sick, she responds, you’ll have to reschedule and walks off. A man comes to take the parents on a tour, I let him know I have to reschedule because my son is sick, he wished him well and I thanked him. I wait to reschedule, no one comes to communicate anything for a while, I go to the admin lady she then goes to talk to the other lady and there was a misunderstanding. I believe she thought I went on the tour or I’m not sure if I could have taken the tour as she walked off and didn’t communicate. In the email it doesn’t say bringing your child as mandatory. Confusion and lack of communication. The admin desk lady was very nice she asked for Josiah’s well being and wished him to get well soon. I did pray if this is the school for Josiah it will be easy. The next appointment is on the 18th after the term starts. I’ll be very disappointing if I could have gone to the tour without him but I don’t know as it wasn’t communicated to me.
A pretty good school, but very bad at explaining up-coming small events etc. To sum this school up as a formal year 9 student at the time of this post (Started Kindergarten), if you're trying to get someone apart of this school, this school offers great learning abilities and get straight to the point with learning, but to be honest, This school can get a little bit frustrating sometimes, This includes: Their dress code, the way the rules are, and their are some bullies/ others that you need to be careful of. Other than that, it's a great school 8/10!

My daughter was declined a spot for 2024 intake prep because they think that my daughters not ready from a 15 min interview with a person she doesn’t even know… It’s purely disrespectful to decline a child education due to a 15 mins observation…. It was very clear she was declined due to her hyperactivity which is her personality trait. I was due to take my daughter in for her interview with the principal as I didn’t agree with their decision which was on 21/11/23 Unfortunately we were unable to attend due to and emergency and called to reschedule the next day and admin was very rude and told me to “email” instead of simply transferring the call over to enrolments. I email, then 23/11/23 and I get an email to say my daughter shortlisted yet if groves would have just held a spot, I wouldn’t be in this situation. It’s honestly appalling and embarrassing

Rejected my daughter prep enrolment due to “ her not being ready for school” yet it was clear she was ready but is just hyperactive and an eager child…. Was booked in for a 2nd interview as I didn’t agree which was missed on my behalf, called to make a new interview date and in those 2 days prep is now apparently full… yet if they would have just offered her a spot in the first place we wouldn’t have a problem. Make that make sense Also my son has been going for 2 years and his first year of prep which is such a crucial year, he had multiple different teachers and lack of routine, which I believe had an impact on his learning now! I must say MRS. PEPE has been an AMAZING teacher to my son!
