I attended Rochedale State School from 2008 - 2014. The school played a big part in my life, was lovely and caring when I was there, I know my point is probably not very valid, but I think from when I was there, It was a great school and I hope that that is still true today.

Some teachers here can be really painful but overall the food is great and so are the opportunities. 2nd year student. :)

This school doesn't care about the students but the reputation of the school, well, that's a different story. Remember,  were 100% better then spring wood - Jeff Broadway. Rhino clap on them in 3, 2, 1.

I ADORE THIS PLACE!
I loved this school so so much but there's always a downfall.
From my experience there some teachers are very unqualified and don't teach children well. But always when the principal comes around their mood suddenly changes. My Grade 6 teacher Mrs Reberger was great! she would teach us everything and explain everything to us step by step, actually being mindful about the students. I really owe her :). As my other teachers would just say "I taught you this already! You should've listened!"
Exhibition was so fun! It's a little bit like Science fair but it's much more fun. It was a great opportunity to learn about the world from a different perspective! We got to team up into groups of 2-3 I think and we would work on this "poster board" explaining our research topic.
Graduation was even BETTER! It was a lot of effort but it was so worth it! We got a party, food, lights and a much much more! Some students were allowed to help set up the place. (Grade 6s)
Bullying---
There is so much bulling at RSS. It's unbelievable. I've been bullied from Grade 3 (when I first came to this school) to Grade 6.  I did tell my parents and they decided to take it to the principal since I came home in tears each day. Sometimes I didn't show it just for the sake of others. Its so bad I don't even know how to explain it. It was terrible. When I tried taking it to the deputy principal he would always play favourites and the girl bullying me always got away with everything. I mean... he tried. But the person bulling me would continue until we were separated into different classes.
There are always many fun events and competitions such as
The FETE
Chinese New year parades
Exhibition
Under 8s Day
Cupcake Day
Etc.
Honestly apart from the bullying, I think the school is a good educational environment to enrol your child in.
