Goodstart Early Learning Carina

My son has been attending this daycare for a year now and loves being here! We moved from another daycare in the area and found that just because a place is newer and more expensive, it doesn't mean it is better. We love that at Goodstart, the staff are consistent; they treat the children like their own, and they are always striving to improve. My son is always happy here and can't stop talking about the things he has done at daycare. Thank you to all the educators here and the amazing work they do!🩷

Our girls have been attending Goodstart Carina for two years. Great centre, terrific long-term staff, good communication.

We recently relocated interstate and I was really worried about not being able to place our children in full time care. Goodstart Carina initially advised me they could only do 3 days for my youngest son who is in a room that is in high demand. Within a day, the centre came back to me and were able to offer me full time care for both of my boys. The fact that the staff went above and beyond for me made it a no brainer when accepting the offer! We have come from centres where my son was bullied so drop offs have been hard. I have never seen my son settle in and make friends so quickly and has the confidence to leave my side at drop offs which is an unusual feeling. Educators really care about the kids and make them feel included and help build their confidence. I've often seen some lovely conversations happen between my son and the educators of a morning. There is a low turnover here which helps the children build bonds. Such a wonderful centre with great staff including the Director who I find very friendly and approachable.

My daughter has been there for a year, from 15 months to 26. We can’t thank the wonderful team enough for their support and love they have for our child. The special bond our girl has with the educators is truly beautiful. Our daughter can’t wait to go in the mornings, with so many fun and educational activities organized for them, it’s every child’s dream as well as ever parents wish to have their child looked after and loved just as you would. Great work team!!!

Goodstart Carina has been a great learning environment for our daughter to thrive. She was enrolled there for two years and attended kindy program. She enjoyed the play based learning activities and interactions with her peers and educators. The teachers are very friendly, professional, attentive to children's needs and caring. They send us daily food and event updates which allows us to stay more involved in the process. Overall, this childcare offers such a homely and positive environment for the kids. You are always welcomed with a big smile and warmth. This Centre will be a recommended choice for parents who look for quality early learning for their children.

So much to love and learn with the gentle staff this miracle day care team of guardian angels will provide a safe and supportive hug for all children 🤗. My grandson, Vincent attends and he has friends that he looks forward to playing with. Can't say enough about the holistic approach and how lovely it is to see so many smiles on faces.

My son has attended this day care centre for about 7 months now, since turning 15 months old. We moved from a different day care and could instantly feel the homely and welcoming vibes at this centre. My husband and I have only wonderful things to say about Goodstart Carina. The staff are committed, friendly and just amazing. The staff turn around is low, which stood out for us as a place where staff enjoy their workplace, many who have been at the centre for a long time. At morning drop offs, our son just runs through the door and out to play, without even looking back! If he seems unsettled, the educators are able to distract him easily and are very caring and nurturing. Our son loves it SO MUCH that he cries at pick up time because he is enjoying himself so much that doesn't want to leave! The Story Park app is updated on a daily basis with wonderful photos showing the fun activities for the day. This is the best gift when you're at work and wanting to put a smile on your face. We have noticed new words and good habits like putting rubbish in the bin and taking the plate to the sink after meal time. He has picked these things up from day care. We have to move house soon and the only reason tying us to staying in Carina is the day care and how happy and settled our child is there. We have already recommended this centre to a friend who has also made the switch and we will continue to recommend it to anyone else who is interested.

Recently lockers have been added to give children their personal space for their belongings, this is a great idea.
