Papilio Early Learning Wakerley

UPDATE: No longer relevant for Papilio. Previously Kindy Kapers: The educators at this centre are amazing! They always maintain the highest standard of educational program and practice as well as an aesthetically stimulating environment that complements the children's current learning. They apply their thorough knowledge of the national Early Childhood curriculum guidelines to their everyday routines to ensure best practice is always followed. I highly recommend this centre for children of any ages below school age.

We have been at Papilio since our son was 6 months old and love it. The care they show for our son has made it so much easier going back to work knowing he is well looked after and having a great time. The educators are amazing and the centre is lovely and so much nicer than some of the others we toured.

Hard to summarise the disappointment. Not a good experience, lots of incidents. Stuck it out for just over a year. Final straw was Injury to child, requiring hospitalisation. Yes I have already contacted feedback at affinity, with no response previously. Feedback is not well received, nor followed up by centre management. We are now at another centre, its totally a different experience.

Coming from 3 OTHER daycares which were AWFUL I am so happy I found Papilio! It looked small from the outside but it's deceiving as it's actually massive and the outdoor area is full of nature, beautiful sunlight but also heaps of shade! So happy knowing my boy is spending his days there! Cannot fault the staff at all they have been amazing! Highly recommend!

Papilio Wakerley has looked after our family for the past 12 months and we have been very grateful for their professionalism, care and support. They have helped not just our son, but us as parents as well, whenever we have had challenges. The centre is incredibly well set up with great outdoor and indoor play areas, and we have had nothing but good experiences with all of the educators and other staff. The kids get excellent meals and snacks from chef Lucy and we always are updated on the kids' days. Having come from a very small and close-knit day care for the previous 5 years, the large size of this centre was initially challenging for us as parents, but we always feel confident in the care our son is getting, and the combination of educator-led and child-led learning is great.

I was trying to look for 6 stars rating but unfortunately not available. Libby and her team is incredible in the way creating a positive culture and happy place for educators and staff. We had to transfer our child from other centre and wondering why we did not visit this lovely Papilio earlier. After fifth date, very first time our little boy told me in the car "Daddy, I like Papilio" on the way home and he did ask me in the morning to make he could pronounce Papilio as close as possible. I was almost holding my tears as it was an amazing moment after all kind of stresses from transfer, baby sitting at home as only 2 days/week available at centre, etc. Now we have to relocate a near-home centre as 45 mins commuting is too much for him and upset his night time after falling sleep on the way home. We're regretful to leave this week and will be dearly missed such a great time at Papilio Wakerley. Well done and thank you Team.

I wish as parents we had the pleasure of giving positive feed back about this daycare. Unfortunately we pulled our child out due to a string of events. The manager shows lack of knowledge of her service provided , lack of communication with her educators on a day to day basis.

Such a wonderful centre! After looking at a few in the area, this one felt like home. The educators are kind, nurturing and across every aspect of my child’s day. He loves going to daycare and I feel safe leaving him in their care.

Great centre and exceptional educators (including the office staff). Our little girl loves going to daycare each week. Her day is filled with wonderful educational and devopmental activies to keep her busy and learning. There has been a lot of changes within the centre the last few months but the changes implemented are to the benefit of all kids and we a very happy with this daycare. But I think there is always room for improvement.
