Canopy Early Education Ormiston

The change over between companies was poor on canopy’s behalf on poor communication failing to be upfront with parents. Unfortunately after absolutely loving the centre as Jungle Cubs we decided to move centres due to not agreeing with canopy’s view of children’s safety and their education

All of the old staff before the sale of this centre from Jungle Cubs to Canopy are wonderful, but Peta The CEO is one of the rudest people I have come across. Constantly cutting me off in conversation, not listening to what I’m saying yet “they pride themselves on communication” when I finally had enough of being cut off I said “I’m still speaking” in which she responded “clearly”. That is beyond unprofessional, she cannot take feedback on board and joking at the first meet and greet “can someone shut that kid up” in a childcare was appalling. Being told she would call me back then arguing with me saying she never said that. She is not on the same page as the operations manager and centre manager, being told conflicting responses and no one knows what’s going on. Reply: my issue is no longer what it was before. It is how you have spoken to me with complete disregard for any manners and complete disrespect. there has been no working with me. You have not listened to me at all and continually cut me off when I tried to discuss my concerns.

Eden is amazing. Sam is amazing. Pricilla is amazing. Majority of the staff are pretty good and up beat. The location for me was absolutely amazing at the time. Just down the road. My son misses going there, he had developed a good relationship with the staff and the kids. They also took allergies and sickness seriously. I also really loved the shaded area for the babies - 2 year olds Its one star down because there were a few singular circumstances that had occurred but most of them did get resolved, I'm not detailing it on a google review because Ive raised it with them confidentially. But suffice to say as well, they handled most of them as best as they can given the situation. There has also been a lot of staff turnover including meal prep, which does impact continuity with the kids (may have improved now). If I could manage this star system better it would be 0.5 down from 5. They really are a great facility, doing what they can.

I "m also a mother so I want every child need to be with right person for good reason to grow in excellent environment, I highly recommend jungle cubs early education Ormiston.

Jungle Cubs are fantastic! My Daughter feels at home going there, she has made many good friends. The Staff are lovely and so attentive to the Children. Management are beyond helpful. I have seen my shy little toddler learn so much and be so happy...she’s growing into a confident and secure little girl, thank you Jungle Cubs.

Angelo-Pierre is in Kindy Program of Jungle Cub Early Education Centre in Ormiston. He is always happy and excited to go to school (as we call it) everyday! He looks forward to seeing Miss Donna and Miss Amparo and his pals! 1. As parents, we are so secured and highly satisfied for not only having competent, highly skilled and credible educators/teachers but professionals with really big heart! I am so touched that my son mumbled first Miss Amparo's and Miss Donna's names over the names of his pals! I believe that they are doing something really important that matters to him which is so dear to me as a mother. They are very supportive of how Pierre thrives, grow, learn and develop especially on having his personal challenges - picky on food, allergy management, how to be in a group, etc. 2. The teachers are open and always give us important update specific to Pierre- how he thrive for the day, what and how he did things and achieve them which are important to us as parents. This is aside from the daily journals we receive everyday. The centre also gives the calendar of activities ahead of time which help us manage our hectic schedules as working parents with Uni siblings. 3. I believe that their curriculum for EYLF supports the goals for developmental milestones for his age (4-5 years old) which is children have a strong sense of wellbeing. They take increasing responsibility for their wellbeing in various developmental areas - cognitive, language, emotional, social and physical aspects. 4. Schedule is flexible especially during family emergencies which are really important and urgent. 5. The centre is compliant of Safety First Policy which include Covid Safe Plan especially this Pandemic. There is nothing more calming than knowing your child is in a safe place and he is safe when you are busy earning a living. I highly recommend Jungle Cub here in Ormiston which is rich in happy faces, active feet and hands, loud laughter, sound sleep, fun learning and honours your child's uniqueness and unfailingly support his wellbeing and success! - Sasis Family

My little guy has been attending for over a year now and loves it. The staff all know him by name greet him when he arrives each morning he attends. They are professional, there is excellence in lots of small details and it’s obvious that they care about the kids. It feels safe and happy and I love how they check in with the parents regularly.

We absolutely love Jungle Cubs. Our daughter is 20 months old and ever since she has been at the centre her confidence has grown. She loves the staff and activities they co-ordinate for her. As parents we really appreciate the regular updates and value the app they have. Some of our friends don’t get this same high standard of service. The other great aspect is the staff really get to know you. They not only know us but also her nanna who picks her up. This definitely is a place where you know they love your child as much as you do!

My daughter has been going to Jungle Cubs since she was 4.5 months old, Every morning i drop her off she is so excited to see her educators (and all the other staff too!) They have been so accommodating and friendly and i love getting the daily journals for what she got up to with photo's! I knew of other parents not particularly liking one of the staff but she is no longer there, i wasn't a massive fan of how she came across but everyone else there is wonderful. Eden and Bri do a great job running the centre.

During our short time being a part of the Jungle Cubs community we have had nothing but positive interactions with all of the staff and our child has settled in really easily. Eden and Bri have been particularly lovely to deal with and have made the transition for us really easy. We were drawn to the easygoing and down to earth personalities of the staff members and have not been disappointed yet. Our child is happy and so are we!
