Little Scholars School of Early Learning Redland Bay

It was mid January when we needed a placement for our Grandson who came to live with us at 18 months of age. We were visiting numerous daycare centres in the area but there wasn't much of a chance of a placement until after the first term. But to our thanks and gratitude, the Director if this centre phoned us with great news that they were able to give our grandson a place in their daycare centre. We receive emails every day, passing onto us information on his activities for the day, sleep time, meals he ate and how he coped during his day there. The staff are all friendly towards us. 5 stars to you all who helped us with the admission and process of getting us started. Thank you to all staff who were involved in that process.🙏👩‍🎓🎈

I’m not usually one to post reviews but I was so disappointed with this centre. At first glance this centre looks amazing we spent 6 months there last year and to be honest I don’t understand all the 5 star reviews. There is absolutely no communication from admin or care staff I had no idea what my child had done for the day, whether they had slept, if they ate, toileted and when asked staff would say “oh they had a great day”. There are too many kids and not enough resources for them all. The rooms are tiny and jam packed. Every single time I dropped off and picked up there were sick crying kids. 80% of the time we were not greeted when we walked through the front doors. Multiple clothing, drink bottle and other items went “missing” never to be seen again. We struggled with the lack of supervision in outdoor activities during school holidays when older school children were there for vacation care many many times my child was hurt to the point they started refusing to attend the centre. Our room teachers were beautiful and always tried their best but they just had too many high needs kids in such a confined space. I wish I had listened to the reviews from parents on Facebook rather than looking here. So many local parents too scared to tell the truth about how unhappy they are at this centre for fear of retaliation on their children :(

Such wonderful people and a fantastic facility. All the staff are so warm and friendly to our little 2.5 year old and she loves coming there after only a few weeks. Thank you everyone!

Amazing centre, my toddler loves going and is learning so much

We have loved every second of our time with the centre and are so impressed with all the staff and their level of care. The centre is full of love and kindness and gives each child a great foundation before they go on to school. The range of activities that are on offer are fantastic especially the bush kinder. We will be sad to not be attending anymore but I know my daughter is well prepared for her next journey.

Moving our boys to Little Scholars Redland Bay South, was one of the best decisions we could have made. The educators know both of my boys by name, and say hello to them as we pass by, so we don’t feel like just a number, but a valued family of the centre. My kids love going, and I love knowing they are in good hands every day. I can’t recommend this centre highly enough.

Daughter absolutely loves going and all the extra activities and offerings are amazing!
