Love this centre! My little ones love going to little school, I feel so at ease having the staff look after my kids they are all so friendly and nurturing I have a great relationship with all of them. The food that is cooked on campus by the chef is delicious and nutritious. My kids are eating 2-3 bowls at lunch. I couldn’t fault this place it has a great vibe!

We absolutely love Little School! My toddler has been there 2 years and my bub has been there since January. We were actually suppose to leave Little School a couple of months ago and move to a different centre. However after a lengthy conversation with the director Karley and the 2IC we decided to stay and it was the best decision I made. My kids are so happy there and so I am. I can’t imagine sending my kids anywhere else! Whenever we drive past on his day off or the weekend my toddler wants to go there! All of the staff are warm, nurturing and caring 🥰 They not only have great bonds with the children but with the parents as well. As it is only a small centre it means that all the staff know all of the children and their families. The director Karley is amazing! She is always on the floor interacting with children and parents. She is approachable and always has time for a chat and is open to any parent feedback! Karley and all of the educators are continually striving to give all of the children the best care and early childhood experience they can! They genuinely love their job and all of the children! All information is communicated around the centre through displays and staff as well as on the app! Everything is logged on the app including sleep times, what they ate, observations, pics of my little ones day etc. I love that when I am at work I can see everything about my boys day! The centre is always clean and the rooms and resources are beautiful! The programming is amazing with lots of fun and interactive learning and play opportunities for the children. They have so many great extra curricula activities even in the younger rooms including babies! At the moment my toddler attends music, kids move and sport. They say it takes a village to raise children and we are lucky enough to have become part of the Little School village 💗 It really has become a home away from home for my boys 🥰
We started at Little School when our daughter was in the Nursery, she made two little best friends in that room and they have all since moved up through Toddlers together and are now all in Jrn Kindy Room together too! I am so incredibly grateful that we found this daycare when we did, every single day our little girl has been loved on and nurtured by the wonderful educators here ❤️ The team are not only professional but are genuinely loving and attentive to all the kids, this doesnt feel like "just a job" to them. They have created a space that feels like a second home to walk into, it is full of smiles, warmth and positivity. Little School, Karley and the educators truly are a gem in our community 🥰 (Huge shout out to two of Lotties educators that have seen her grow through three rooms now 🙌 Miss Cilla and Miss Donna!)
MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS - VERY HIGH DIRECTOR & STAFF TURNOVER While it's regrettable to share this review after entrusting my child to Little School Highland Park for just over a year, I believe it's important to convey my experiences with other families considering this facility. Despite our family's very positive interactions with the few long standing educators who have remained at the centre, ongoing challenges very clearly stemming from management have left us feeling uneasy and distrustful, ultimately prompting our recent decision to leave. Since new ownership took over in January 2023, we've encountered persistent issues including: - A very high turnover of staff and directors (4 directors changed within 13 months). - Consistent patterns of poor communication. - Failure to provide adequate information about new staff members prior to their start, if at all (name, photo, qualification, and room allocation). I have, on many occasions, arrived to drop my daughter off and found new staff whose name or details I did not know and had not been shared with us. This very important issue had been brought to their attention on multiple occasions by many parents. - Management's dismissive and evasive responses to the significant number of parental concerns that were recently raised in our community app and follow-up emails, leaving us feeling unheard and unvalued. - Parents' ability to comment and communicate on any subsequent community posts being turned off. - Witnessed and repeated policy breaches sparking safety concerns. - Unanswered or only partially answered emails regarding concerns. - Reluctance to openly acknowledge or apologise for any shortcomings within the management structure, coupled with a tendency toward blame-shifting, which suggests a need for more mature and accountable management practices. - Significant fluctuations in staff morale due to clear lack of support from management. - More recently, some questionable choices in some new staff that are being hired. Unapproachable energy for parents, unprofessional appearance, and children visibly avoiding them on the playground. After my own interactions and conversations with the new director and watching how poorly these issues have been addressed, my doubts about the potential for improvement at this center have increased. Further confirming my gut instinct, within the four weeks since her appointment into the role, five more staff members have resigned in quick succession, including four long-term, experienced, and well-loved staff members. Research into other centres owned by Little School Highland Park owners revealed similar issues documented in Google reviews. It was clear that my fiancé and I could not find the leadership skills or values that we are looking for in an early learning centre here under this ownership. We're incredibly thankful for the dedicated, long-term educators we had the pleasure of knowing during my daughter's time there. Their unwavering commitment and genuine care played a huge role in keeping us connected to the center for as long as we were. It was evident to anyone paying even a little attention that they prioritised the well-being and consistency of the children in their care above all else. We wish them all the best on their next adventures. We are now much happier with the new center we have chosen. The experience is already immeasurably better than at Little School Highland Park. I regret that this decision was not made sooner.
DO NOT send your child to this pre school. I have just had to pull my two out after being there for 1.5 years. I am deeply disappointed by my experience with little school that seems to have a revolving door of directors and an extraordinarily high turnover of staff. In just over a year, they have had four different directors, which raises serious concerns about stability and consistency in their leadership. This constant change not only disrupts the children's learning environment but also creates a lack of trust and communication between the preschool and the parents. Furthermore, the high turnover of staff is alarming. A preschool should prioritise creating a nurturing and stable environment for the children, but constant staff changes can be unsettling for young ones. It also raises questions about the working conditions and management practices within the institution. Lastly, the lack of care and communication with parents is unacceptable. Parents entrust their children to a preschool with the expectation that they will be kept informed and involved in their child's development. However, this particular preschool seems to disregard the importance of open and regular communication with parents, leaving them feeling disconnected and uninformed. Overall, I cannot recommend this preschool due to its constant change in leadership, high staff turnover, and lack of care and communication with parents. It is crucial for a preschool to prioritise stability, consistency, and open lines of communication to ensure the well-being and development of the children in their care. BAD MANAGEMENT = UNHAPPY STAFF As much as they like to say they are “prioritising” in creating a better environment, they have since had another 3 staff leave this week.
Love little school Highland Park. As first time parents we were anxious about sending our little one to daycare, but the lovely ladies at Little School made us feel confident and reassured we made the right decision! Now we get to watch our little one thrive and learn new skills everyday!
Our son has been here for over a year. The staff are very warm and caring, always ensuring a good drop off with lots of cuddles and distractions when needed. Fantastic outdoor area. Keep you updated each day on the activities and provide photos. Love the folder at the end of the year with how they have grown and special messages from teachers.
A great centre with genuine and caring staff. Great communication from management and educators.

The best kindy I have been to. Professional kind staff who are genuinely invested in your child. Loving caring staff. All the staff know each child even if they are not in their class. Great pre prep programme to get the little ones ready for big school. If I could give more stars I would.
Such a great daycare, my daughter has learnt so much with miss Kirra and always has so much fun, love the daily photos of what they get up to it’s always something different to keep them entertained! Bruce the Dinosaur helped my little girl get confident to the school by saying hi to him every morning. Miss Kara is very prompt in communication and is so lovely. Great daycare!
