Our Approach
At Enrich Early Education we are passionate about the learning journey the children and educators go on every day. Our educational curriculum is grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework and combines emotional intelligence teachings with the scientifically proven Montessori method to provide an enriching learning experience for the children.
Early Years Learning Framework
The Early Years Learning Framework provides a powerful foundation for the care and education we provide. Its focus is on becoming, being and belonging. Its principles, practices and learning outcomes support and enhance young children’s learning from birth to five years, as well as their transition to school.
The EQM Approach
We are the first child care and early education centre in Australia to implement the EQM approach. This approach blends the best of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) teachings with the Montessori-method. All with the aim to provide the children with the tools and strategies to feel, be and do well in school and life.
The result is an early school like no other: where children are seen and valued for their unique contribution to this planet and are taught the foundations for happiness and success.
Learning from a flow state
The EQM approach emphasises the child’s ownership of their learning. In true Montessori fashion, the classroom environment is designed to allow the children to choose their own activities based on their curiosities and interests, focus on the activity they're doing and learn at their own pace. We provide a calm, centered environment so children are able to enter a state of flow.
A holistic family hub for well-being and success
From the moment you walk into our centre, through our entire time together, we’re here for you and your family. Our EQ expert Ellen is available to help families navigate raising young children. We support our families even further through our Montessori- and EQ-focused resources such as our podcast, blogs like 'When to hug and when to hold space for your child' and our Emotion Coaching guide.
