Edge Early Learning Bellbird Park

I recently completed a walk through of this newly built facility as I am looking at transitioning my 3 year old from her current day care centre. Upon arrival, I was immediately drawn to the 'community pantry' that was set-up in the foyer. I thought that was a beautiful initiative and a terrific way of teaching children about the importance of giving.

As we walked through the building and spoke with the Centre Manager Jess, I continued to be impressed by the layout of the play areas and the friendliness of the staff. The vibe in the centre was very relaxed and all of the children looked engaged and happy.

Jess was very accommodating in answering all of my questions. The meals provided are to a very high nutritional standard and the programs for the children are varied (including programs such as Billy's Buddies). Another bonus is that they are still offering 'stay and play'.

I was so impressed with what I saw that as soon as I returned home,  I immediately completed the online enrollment form (which was easy to navigate) and submitted it. I received an offer back within a couple of hours!!

The center looks good from the outside and the inside, but too many children in one room. Too expensive and too many red flags in the center, small pieces of toys on the floor on the toddler area and not enough space on the kindy area. I saw an educator screaming to a toddler and no one cared.Some educators looked very stress and I don't think they have enough hands to look after so many children. I would not recommend the center if you want quality care.

Great beautiful centre. The staff are really nice and caring and professional.. I wish i could see more photos of my children's day  but I understand that is not something that they do.. overall we are really enjoying it
