ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs is a beautiful 67 place centre offering 4 Reggio inspired rooms. We offer care for children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years with a warm, nurturing space for them to learn and grow. ​ Our Babies room is a beautiful inviting space with a seperate outside play area where they can explore in our shaded sandpit. We also have an open play space ideal for exploring the natural environment and surrounds. ​ All of our rooms offer Reggio inspired environments creating a warm and calming space for the children to learn and grow throughout their journey with our Sparrow family. Our centre is located in a quiet street amongst local shops and golf course which offers monthly markets, ideal for growing families. ​ Our Educators are passionate about creating a unique environment where each child and their families have a sense of belonging within our Sparrow family. MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER My name is Jayne and I have recently returned as Service Manager here at Sparrow Early Learning Karana Downs, after 12 months maternity leave. I hold my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and I have worked in the early learning profession since 1994 and during those past 26 years I have worked in a variety of roles on centre level from a trainee up to Service Manager. ​ During my time working as a Service manager, I have gained valuable experience and passion from each Centre I have had the pleasure to join. I feel great pride in having the opportunity to work in such a beautiful Centre within my local community, with an amazing environment that makes staff, parents and children all feel welcome. ​ As a community, we have created a welcoming and relaxed environment that emphasises the value we place on parent’s ideas, suggestions and involvement, as we understand you are the first educators.
