My son has been attending since 6 months he’s now 3 and ready to enter into Kindy, I enjoy how easy they have made it to keep my child at the same Centre building his confidence and having continuity. He feels completely at home with all the staff. I plan to enrol my daughter next year.  I would highly recommend Goodstart Early Learning Drayton, the staff are passionate about what they do ensuring my child has a rich play based learning environment and are supportive in getting my son ready for His schooling years ahead. No matter what the situation for my child (sickness, toileting) I know the staff will support my son and guide me on how I can make things better for my child. They have a strong sense of Community and I’m proud we get to be apart of that.

I have been taking my daughter to this centre for 2 months now. She loves going to daycare. She always has big smile on her face when I drop her off in the mornings and a big smile when I pick her up. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They take excellent care of my daughter. She has learnt so much from going to daycare.

I have had three children go through Goodstart Drayton, and I have nothing but great things to say about the centre. The nursery is cosy and stimulating and the staff were fabulous in listening to what I wanted for my baby and were great at keeping to the routines that I used.  The toddler and pre-kindy rooms are full of fun and play-based learning. There are lots of varied experiences catering to all the children’s interests. The staff are wonderful at caring for my children and their experience in early education shines through. The kindy program is outstanding. My children have had their interests explored and learnt all manner of things about the world. There is always time for fun and games, and the love my son has for his teacher is beyond adorable (she gets invited for sleepovers at our house regularly!) My children have left the kindy program very much school ready, but most importantly my children have left the kindergarten program having grown in confidence, with improved resilience and with a strong sense of self.

My son has been going to Goodstart Drayton since he was 6 months old. The staff have always been warm and welcoming. The vacation activities are very fun and have lots of variety. They go on adventures to parks, the zoo and even bowling. I would highly recommend sending your child here of any age and you will know that they will be well cared for and have fun while learning.

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Drayton is situated in a semi-rural community on the outskirts of Southern Toowoomba. The country atmosphere creates a wonderful ambiance as you arrive at the centre, but we are still in a convenient spot which makes the daily drop-off and pick up stress free.

The houses surrounding the centre are on acreage, adding to the peace, tranquillity and spaciousness that you feel when at the centre. At capacity we take 58 children, so we cater to a smaller group of children than some centres.

Being smaller creates a very home-like feeling to the centre. We have four rooms from Nursery to Kindergarten and nutritious meals are provided. The staff at the centre also add to the home-like environment and we have a lovely blend of younger and mature staff.

Our curriculum is aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework and adheres to the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, but we take special care to ensure the individual needs and interests of your child is factored into their personal learning program. Inside, our rooms are well equipped, planned according to the curriculum with colour and stimulation to promote fun and experience-based learning. We also work to ensure children are ready to make a smooth transition to school.

Outside, we make the most of our beautiful rural surrounds with spacious, real and natural environments. We have vege patches, a sandpit, natural bark pit, rocks and lots of space for exploring and imagination. Big verandas make the most of covered space for fresh air and outdoor play, whatever the weather!
