We have been at Imaginarium Early Learning Burpengary since they opened and the staff & center have been really welcoming, open & caring. Our son started in the Poppets & has moved up to Pre-Kindy & is now in the Kindy Room, every step of the way the staff has been truly amazing, and we cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and support they have shown our son and our family. My child has recently been diagnosed with additional needs and The Owner, Director & Staff work so hard to provide a friendly, caring & inclusive environment. We have witnessed my son have challenging moments and have watched the staff guide/settle him with so much compassion. The support we have received has meant the world to us as a family and we wanted to thank them for everything they do each and every day. We can’t wait to see what the next five months brings for our son’s development and progress before he goes to big school next year.

I must say the staff themselves at the day care are amazing! the one thing that is their biggest down side is the management (centre manager) she is not caring, completely unprofessional, speaks rudely to parents and quite dismissive, blames illnesses that have been transferred from the day care on the parents/ siblings being sick.
We have 2 kids here and they are both extremely happy . It's a family owned centre and the owner has the best interest of the children at heart . It's a shame some previous staff members have ruined some parents experiences .
Do not recommend this centre whilst there my child was neglected by an educator, came home with mutiple rashs on many occasions from being feed food that he wasnt allowed due to allergies. which the centre knew about.

I highly recommend Imaginarium Early Learning for any parent looking for quality care and a safe, fun environment for their child. From the moment I met Brenda, her professionalism and passion made me feel at ease. The rates are reasonable, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure the children are engaged and happy. The bush kindy program at Imaginarium is outstanding, with a variety of activities to keep the kids entertained. From bush play days to library trips, they make sure every day is filled with fun experiences. The staff are friendly, informative, and the security measures in place give me peace of mind as a parent. Moreover, the staff at Imaginarium, including the chef, have played a significant role in my son’s development. They have catered to his high allergy needs gluten , dairy and egg free providing him with a variety of options which meet his needs and are delicious. The personalized care and attention he received made him excited to go to “kindy” every morning. The welcoming atmosphere created by the staff make us feel like part of a family. In conclusion, Imaginarium has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I wholeheartedly recommend this childcare service to any parent seeking a nurturing environment where their child can learn and grow while feeling loved and cared for.
One of my children was physically assaulted by an educator that is still at the centre, despite several staff members witnessing the assault. The video evidence mysteriously disappeared-Brenda was in agreeance that this educator was to be kept away from both my children, however time and time again this educator was in my sons room. We laid an official complaint with the department, this was investigated it wasn't until then that the video surveillance footage went missing. We noticed that my youngest son was having a reaction to a certain food, so we told them no more, an allergy tag was made and all staff were notified. Educators in his new room gave him the food he is allergic to, the room leader did not make contact with us until that evening after we had picked him up several hours after he had the food. My eldest son (age 4) has additional needs and he was left in his pull up I sent him to kindy in. 7/8 hours later when we picked him up, he was still in it. He had not been toileted or changed the whole day. This happened on 2 separate occasions. The second time our son ended up with a very bad rash and was incredibly upset. When we spoke to Brenda about this the first time we were assured it wouldn't happen again, yet it did only a week later. I was also shown (by brenda) the CV of a potential new director for the center and asked what I thought-a huge breech of this person's privacy. There are a couple of lovely educators at the center, however a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and unfortunately it seems as thought the good staff have since left.
Edited to add - this isn’t a bribed review as another person has implied. It’s my personal experience with my child at this centre. Don’t attack other parents for having an experience that was different to yours. We love this daycare. My daughter has thrived while attending since May 2023. I was anxious to send her to any daycare but felt comfortable with this centre and the staff from the start. My daughter’s speech, communication, friendships and confidence has grown as a result of educators at this centre. Yes, there were teething issues at the beginning like any centre would have when first opening but I feel as though all communication has been great and thorough. Our daily updates and pictures are a joy to see. Staff are friendly at drop off/pick up and communicate about the child’s day effectively. Room and staff changes have happened and I was worried how my daughter would adjust, but they take the time to ensure the child is ready and comfortable in the change before easing them into it. The room educations my daughter has had have been a dream to deal and I have no regrets about choosing this centre for our child’s care.

If I could give no stars I would, watching this centre bribe parents into putting good reviews is disappointing, Both my kids attended this centre and from the start when my daughter attended it was great some amazing staff who cared for her, we noticed a shift in a staff turnover once they had been approved to open downstairs- from that weekly there was new staffing every week. I didn’t have many issues until my son started he was 10 months old it was his first day and i immediately pulled him out that afternoon, on the app he’d been given 3 bottles in 2 hours, I called to check on him as no one updated me and they told me he was “fine” I had noticed he had 1 nappy change and it was about 12pm and I had dropped him off at 9am… I left it until I seen another 2 nappy changes within 30 mins of each other and that was about 1:30-2pm so didn’t think much, I picked him up about 3pm when I had gotten there no one knew who I was, my son had been crying all day his little face was swollen and red from crying all day, I asked where his things were and they pointed his dummy was submerged In a bottle warmer of water “ sterilising” the educator said “he’s been vomiting and crying all day” but when I had called earlier that day he was “fine” I replied back and said “yea well him having 3 bottles in 2 hours will make him vomit” they said nothing. I pulled him out that afternoon the director Brenda called me that night being all sorry “change will happen, I promise” she was just trying to cover her backside. That afternoon I had gotten home and my son was sitting in a soiled nappy his bottom was bleeding and he had poo stuck to his bum. So hed had to have been sitting in that nappy for a lot longer then an hour like the app stated, I did a department call with how bad my son was neglected and they got away with it, the director tried being all sorry it won’t happen again to try and bribe me into putting my son back in at the centre. After that incident I noticed a decline in the centre after the lead in my daughters room left she started to be neglected and so did the other kids, when I was picking my daughter up at 5:30pm in winter the kids were all outside in short clothes NO JUMPERS meanwhile the educators were all in jumpers, half the time they were too busy sitting on there bums then playing with the kids. A few times I noticed when picking my daughter up she was crying in a corner and I did ask them and they said “ohh she just started” one afternoon in particular I sat at the door and observed and I watched them shove my daughter to the side and brush her off whilst she was crying and as soon as the male educator seen me he ran over to my daughter and tried comforting her saying “she just has gotten upset” I told him to stay away from her and she was pulled out that day. During the time I had given them multiple feedback as a parent and as an educator but it was disgusting. I might add half the staff that work there aren’t even qualified and aren’t over the age of 18 so they shouldn’t be left unsupervised with the children or to be doing nappy changes alone. Hearing all these stories of kids being in that centre being neglected is disgraceful. I really hope something is done about this.

My child was physically hurt by an educator who Still works at the center. His asthma inhaler went missing and we were not informed for a week. He was also constantly being bitten and coming home with unexplained bruises. The high staff turnover meant that no one really knew which child had allergies or medical needs etc. the center does not have cleaners, the common areas ie foyer are filthy and the rooms aren’t much better. Multiple instances of the director being unprofessional with staff in front of parents and informing parents of confidential info on staff
