Exceptional Early Learning centre. After coming from a centre where they ignore bullying at 3 years old, to this gorgeous,  natural, country centre, where the staff really care, every time i walk in there it's the warmest welcome, genuine, lovely people. My son is thriving,  stopped stuttering after only 3 months attending this centre, the kids experience the outside world,  they get to go outside and explore nature, so many great activities for the kids to do. I'm so impressed with Sparrow and can't wait to see my son develop even more under the care of the awesome educators and their incredible leader.  Well done guys!

ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Sparrow Early Learning is a 75 place centre situated in picturesque Mt Samson, north-west of Brisbane.
 

We are open 6:30 am to 6:30pm, closing public holidays. 

This is a semi-rural area with a lovely state school next door, and a music

school attached to the centre.

We cater for babies through to school age children and have 5 rooms:

Babies, Toddlers, Junior Kindy, Senior Kindy and Kindergarten.

​

We offer Sessional Care for Kindergarten children at a reduced fee rate. Our talented onsite cook provides all the children with nutritious and delicious meals, made fresh daily.


Our outdoor areas offer both structured and imaginative play. The design allows for MAXIMUM supervision at all times.

All staff are highly qualified and experienced in the Early Childhood field, and follow the Early Years Learning Framework in daily programming.
 
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
Hi, my name is Dee and I am the Service Manager at Sparrow Early Learning Mount Samson. My philosophy for our children is to ensure that every child gets the most in their young education and is provided a safe environment for them to play and learn. My aim is to provide a foundation of learning built from their interests and share their enthusiasm on their journey, together we make the difference.


I believe that learning in early childhood involves not only every sense of the child but

also all domains in which we learn and function and all aspects that surround him or her.

I believe that everyone that a child comes into contact with is a potential teacher, whether

they realize it or not. This is a very important piece for families as they are their

child's first teacher and we need to recognize and respect that as we work with

children and their families.

 

What I aspire to do is not only helping children learn fundamental skills but to get

them excited to explore new things and learning through interactive activities, giving

them a life-long love of learning. This is what I aim for with every child that I interact

with no matter their background, abilities, culture or families economic status. All

children have ways to be a part of activities, events and life. It is our job to help them

find their particular role by giving them the opportunities to fit their individual

abilities.
