Pelican's Nest Early Learning Centre

Our 4 year old daughter has been attending Pelican's Nest for the past year. She is so happy here and loves going to 'Kindy'. The two year Kindy program is a fantastically diverse experience ranging from structured literacy activities to rich free-play time. We have heard our daughter talking about such a wide range of topics and her vocabulary and understanding around these has been, quite frankly, mind blowing! I love that she is learning about sustainability, numbers, cooking, letters, animals, shapes, colours and so much more while having fun and making great friends. The staff at Pelican's Nest are so friendly and supportive and are always exploring ways to extend the learning and social experience for the kids. Thanks Pelican's Nest for your amazing work!

Our two year old son recently transferred into the Pelican's Nest Early Learning Centre and we have been very happy with the attention to detail the the Pelican's Nest team have provided him.  We are extremely impressed with the quality of teaching, outdoor activities and high level of communication we have had from the team, especially given how unsettling a transfer into a new centre can be. Thanks to the super efforts from Miss Debby our son's teacher, our son has never come home and talked so much about the daily happenings. He absolutely adores Ms Debby and doesn't stop talking about her, even on days he doesn't attend. All the staff involved in our son's care, have gone above and beyond our expectations to help Cody adjust to his new daycare environment. His dietary, behavioural, sleep and special needs requests were actively listened to and have been accommodated seamlessly. We absolutely love the daily updates that are emailed each day and really appreciate being able to see how the various levels of learning are being achieved throughout the day. The team at Pelican's Nest Early Learning Centre are super down to earth and genuinely passionate about what they do.
The centre provides plenty of open and secure outdoor play areas, the rooms inside are really large and filled with an abundance of natural light and the centre in general regularly presents neat, tidy and clean.
We are most of all impressed by the amount of interaction our son gets with nature. One of his favourite all time activities is visiting the ducks, chickens and helping to feed them and collect the eggs...We have moved from acreage and we no longer have the interaction with farm animals that we used to have and just love love love that this can be included into a daily happenings for our little man. We hold absolutely no hesitation in recommending Pelican's Nest to others, and will be reserving a place for our second son when the time comes.
