Welcome to the world of early learning with First Steps, a family-owned Early Learning Service in Agnes Waters, Qld.  Our other centre is in Goonellabah (Lismore) NSW, serving the community there for 16 years.

Our doors are open 52 weeks a year for your  little ones aged 6 weeks to Preschool.

We're thrilled to announce the FREE KINDY QUEENSLAND Program (2024) is available here, note places are limited. 

Our brand-new centre, opened in May 2023, boasts a coastal theme, awesome outdoor spaces, and an amazing sea breeze to keep your little ones feeling fresh and invigorated.

INSIDE: COOL AND NURTURING SPACES
Indoors discover our two nurseries for our tiny tots and three playrooms where our little learners can explore a library, a play kitchen, and even a yoga stretch space to unwind. And it’s all fully airconditioned.

ADVENTURE OUTSIDE
Step outside you'll find a world of trees, big open sky and adventure. Under our shaded areas there's plenty of room for children to play, splash in the mud kitchen, or sit down with friends for some project work and snacks. The picnic table settings are lovingly made by the Men's Shed Agnes Water and are a hit with the little ones. 

Our adventure playground, complete with a bike track and climbing ropes, will keep them active and engaged, while our flourishing garden is the perfect spot for little green thumbs to grow and taste fruits and veggies.

THE AMAZING TEAM
Our Centre offers excellent Preschool and School Readiness Programs led by qualified and wonderfully experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. 

Our Director Linda Hewson leads the way in fostering curiosity, discovery, and friendships.
