Hi My name is Katie Clayton and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Kin Kora Gladstone.
I have been the Centre Director here at Goodstart Kin Kora since 2018. In this time I have gained extensive knowledge and confidence in my role as I am committed to making a difference to every child’s journey within my service.
I believe children deserve an environment that is fun, positive, educational and nurturing whilst being stimulating for all ages.
At Goodstart Kin Kora we believe play is an important part in a child’s development as play allows children to be spontaneous, explore, discover and take risks. My team are passionate about providing an environment where children are valued as individuals as each child is unique.

Very disappointed, our granddaughter has been booked into the Centre since December 2022, they did a Centre tour in January 2023, now in February 2024 when she is a month away from starting, there is no longer a spot for her, no communication, no notice.
Told she can start mid 2025, that doesn't help a working family, and every other Centre is the same waiting period.
Disappointing.
My little girl has been attending this center since 6 months old and is now 2.5yrs. I have never had any issues or concerns during this time. All the staff are so beautiful and caring, it feels like a big family. I always get a call if there has been an incident with my child and management are always super helpful if I ever need anything. Thank you ladies for all your hard work and dedication to our children it shows how much you all do care :)
Centre Desperately needs a overhaul, 3 Major Injuries on my 3 year old & No staff member to see what happened so they make up a story on incident report to cover their own arses... Both ulnar & Radius arm Broken Not one staff member seen how it happened.. then 11 days Later skin taken off 1 finger downplayed the incident & said was from another fall (was obvious it wasn't) 22days later a broken toe that was also down played & yet again Staff had no idea & downplayed to dad when he picked our Child up & told him she was playing on it... took her to hospital & it was Broken!!! I will be taking it further... incident reports get done but I had to constantly chase for all 3 of them !!! Unprofessional. Best invest in some Cameras to be installed so they can watch whats happening.
Great Centre! My daughter had 4 wonderful years there, and my son in his 3rd year - we love the friendly staff, the centre is always tidy and looking beautiful with all the plants/attention to detail. Really welcoming environment! Keep up the great work!
Gladstone's best centre in town. Extremely accommodating and attentive to your child's needs and the most friendly bunch of ladies you could ask for. Highly recommend to any mums that are just starting out with putting their child in care as they will make you and your child feel welcomed and cared for.
Absolutely amazing centre, the staff are all wonderful and the facility is always clean and tidy. Each and every staff member always go above and beyond and would 100% recommend this centre.
Both my kids attend this centre and they do an amazing job! Highly recommend to everyone considering them :)
My son loves going to care, and has always had an excellent day upon pick up. These ladies are amazing!
