Hello, I'm Vanessa and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Early Learning Aitkenvale.

I have worked in Early Learning since 2004 and I have an Advanced Diploma of Children's Services.

Over my years of experience, I have had opportunities to educate children from 6weeks to 5 years and worked across a variety of areas in the industry to become Centre Director since 2012.

I believe it is my role to create the best possible start for Early Learning for our children. I strive to ensure that my team of Educators and myself provide the highest quality of care and incorporate our community and families into our everyday practices. I ensure that my passionate and dedicated Educators build long and lasting relationships with our families and children of Goodstart Aitkenvale.

For us it is all about making sure we look to provide a stimulating and positive learning environment.

I enrolled my kids into this centre off a recommendation from someone, I did it all over the phone before relocating to Townsville. They have been attending for nearly 6 months. I can truly say I would do it again and I would be more then happy to recommended this centre. My children have built strong connections with the educators which helped them settle quicker and easier. I'm constantly getting daily story's, learning story's and updates on there day. The educator don't stop, they are always engaged with the children learning and always have different daily activities set out. The centre and educators also gets involved in the yearly celebrations, eg: Halloween, red for Daniel day etc which the children love. Thank you to that person that recommended this centre to me and thank you to all the amazing educators that work here.

Vanessa and her hardworking team of Co Workers have always provided wonderful early learning care of my Grandson. As he moved from Toddler to Kindy, it has been a pleasure watching him grow thanks to the fun, educational program that gives him a valuable start before attending School. Thank you.

So happy about this daycare. All staff there are like family to my little boy. For someone who can have an unhealthy attachment to his mother, my son gets excited everyday , to go to daycare away from his mother. We now live out at bushland beach and make the extra 20min drive to take my son some where we can trust and feel safe with. Now that they provide nappies and a new healthy range of food, they have taken all of the fuss out of sending my child to daycare. Thankyou to the director Kerri and the staff. You are all amazing.
