Goodstart Early Learning Annandale - Yolanda Drive

I have a Diploma in Children’s Services and have been in childcare since 2007. I started my early learning journey as a casual employee, originally with ABC before Goodstart took over. I have held many roles over the years including: an assistant, a lead educator, educational leader, first aid officer, assistant director then Centre Director. It has been a very rewarding career this far and I will continue to share my experience and passion for working with children for many years to come.

I’ve been privileged to relocate a few times with the company over my years in the sector. I’ve gained many friends for life, a love of learning and educating children and endless support from many amazing educators and co-workers along the way. In April 2018 I made the decision to relocate to Townsville to explore what the city offers and to share my passion and knowledge here with the team I work with now at Annandale Yolanda Drive.

I’ve always been guided in my vision with the words from the very talented Whitney Houston and her song, The Greatest Love of All, as it depicts children with such purity.My Image of Child is:

‘I believe the children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier, let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be’.
