Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Woree Toogood Road opened in June 2006 and is located in a safe and secure residential area conveniently close to local schools, shops and community facilities - as well as public transport. We have built our reputation as a well-respected part of the community. All of our educators are qualified and experienced in the industry and we work closely with families to provide a consistently high standard of care. Our educators move up through the rooms with their group of children at the beginning of each year, to continue the strong bonds developed and provide a sense of security. Each room provides a stimulating age appropriate program which encourages the children to experiment with and progress through the five main developmental learning areas. We understand that every child is different and that they grow and develop at different rates, and therefore program for each child individually to help them achieve their personal goals. Inside, all of the rooms  - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.   Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have a large outdoor area with swings, sandpits, a play fort, bike path, vege patch, mulbery tree and water feature as well as lots of shade! Our role in the community is one we work actively to nurture and the centre has an open door policy, encouraging families to drop by and participate in special events such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, and our Easter Parade.
