Hi my name is Debbie Twiggs. I have 19 years’ experience working in childcare in a variety of roles. I began my childcare career in 1993 working as an assistant and felt that I had found my passion. I then decided to study, gaining my Diploma and became a Team Leader. From there I progressed to Centre Director, Area Manager and then moved to Perth to take on the role as Regional Manager for ABC Learning Centres and then Goodstart Early Learning Centres.
In 2012 I moved back to Adelaide for family reasons at which time I had an opportunity to take on a role as Office Manager at a large furniture importer and have been there for the past 10 years.
When the position of Centre Director presented itself, I realised that my passion in working in Childcare was as strong as ever. I believe children learn best through play and every child should be given the opportunity to be the best they can be. I look forward to meeting all of you very soon!
