Wanslea Child Care Centre

My 10 month old and I have been attending the free Play & Learn sessions for a few months at Wanslea. Both the centre and the director, Erin, are lovely. Erin set up great activities for the babies, and she often gave us ideas for different things we could do at home. I enjoyed getting to know some of the other mums and babies too! If we were still living close by, we would have loved to enrol our daughter at Wanslea.

Very professional and thorough Directors tour, I left feeling very confident I had a firm understanding of what the centre offered and the style of learning the staff implemented. Staff felt very welcoming and loving to children.

Such a fabulous place for my son to go, he’s settled in so well with all the staff and they are all so welcoming and go above and beyond to make him (and I) feel safe and comfortable, couldn’t recommend them more .

Wanslea is absolutely amazing, it’s a calm and loving home like environment with a beautiful, one of a kind outdoor space. The chef is super attentive to our daughters dietary needs and the educators are kind and attentive towards the children ensuring they feel safe and secure. You can feel the love pour through the centre as soon as you walk in the front door, the educators in the nursery communicate thoroughly about my daughters day. In the short time we’ve been here the educators in other rooms always stop and chat to us, greeting my daughter by name and making us feel valued. Erin the director is amazing and goes above and beyond, the trust we have in her and the passion she has for her centre and staff is a rarity.

My son loves coming here. He has developed some great friendships. The kids take to regular visits to a local nursing home. Excellect concept which builds their confidence and interpersonal skills.

What a great centre! Looks amazing inside and out. The children all look so happy. Loved meeting the centre manager on our tour through. The director was very professional and kind.

Wanslea is such a beautiful early childhood education centre. The centre manager, Erin, is a kind, passionate, incredible person with a love for all things education. The centre exudes a calming, welcoming, engaging vibe from the minute you walk in the door. You can tell the children all love being there by the level of engagement and the large smiles on all of their faces. 10/10 would recommend this centre to anyone who asks.

I got to have a walk through the centre a few weeks ago. I was so surprised by the beautiful layout, the culture inclusion they had with the First Nations people, the warm and welcoming environment they had created and the child lead play and learning that was evident in every room we walked through. Such an amazing centre!
